MT Ross Jackal (GY. 637)

The Ross Jackal was a side motor trawler built by Cochranes in 1959. She followed the design of most trawlers of her day and had numerous sister ships. She fished until being broken up in 1985

This vessel is a small scaled down replica.

Specifications:
Speed of 20 knots
Fuel capacity of 11,000 liters

Dimensions:
Length of 31 meters
Width of 6 meters
Depth of 3 meters

Accommodations:
The Accommodation is small but comfortable. There are 2 crew cabins and 1 captains cabin. A dining room and galley is provided along with a head.

Sink:
Sinking can be activated by turning the key on the captain's desk.

Notes:
Sail smart in waves.
Do not trim up in heavy seas

Radio ship version when

Built in Grimsby, I assume you've built this off of the Revelle kit? The Ship still exists I believe as a Museum ship in Grimsby harbour. Looks really nice! I really need to finish my LT.412 Mincarlo as that ship is one that's local to me and been on a few times.
