Description
Heroes of Legend - Sindri Myr

This mod adds a new heroic unit for the Chaos Space Marines from the game "Dawn of War".

Compatible with Too Many Voices, you must use this patch.
Compatible with Gladius+, you must use this patch.

A big thanks to Timmeh to let me use his texture from his mod.

Available in FRENCH and ENGLISH.

Regardless of the player color used, the hero will keep their own colors. He is like mercenary only available to the Chaos Space Marines in the Heroes building like vanilla heroes. Sindri Myr comes to Gladius Prime with his own color scheme, barks, heraldic and assets to sacrifice your life to Ascent !

Role : Versatile/Summoner

Research needed : Daemon Prince (Tier 4)

Skills :
  • 1st : Sacrificial Summon Sindri sacrifice an allied non vehicle target (or marked one) to summon a daemon. More the target is powerful, more the daemon summoned will be too. Each time Sindri summons an daemon, he will lose health.
  • 2nd : Doombolt Sindri projects multiple warp projectiles that deal damage, reduce morale, and pinned down enemy infantry.
  • 3rd : Chains Of Torment Sindri immobilizes a target who will also take dots damage.
  • Elite : Corruption Sindri corrupts all units in a large area which will take dots damage for the next turns.

Traits :
  • Warp Jump : Sindri can teleport to the desired location.
  • Subjugation : Sindri takes control of a non-heroic biological unit that will be marked to be sacrificed. The unit can't act during the effect but can serve as a meat shield.
  • Sacrificial Vitality : Sindri sacrifices a member of an allied Chaos squad or subjugated one to recover health.
  • Stack of Offerings : Sindri gains maximum health and power with each sacrifice he does.
  • Ascent : When the Rite of Blood research (Tier 7) is done, and with a lot of influence, Sindri can release the power of the Maledictum to become a powerful Daemon Prince (far more useful than his counterparts).

Music to my ears. Currently reworking all the Death Korps of Krieg (with new features, balance and models).

Chaos will recieve more love too, Sindri and other old stuff will be upgraded with better models when i've some time to spare on them !

Hey Devian, keep up the good work dude! Just wanted to tell you, that you're doing a good job and to keep it up. Your mod work is beyond excellent and I think I speak for many of the people who've downloaded your content, but we hope to see you continue it in the future!

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing but don't forget that he gains attacks and damages with each sacrifice he does ;) this + items.

Otherwise, it's still possible to spice him up in melee.

So for now I haven't found anything that isn't relevant to the character and the spells are excellent, a really good job, the Dot is really useful and strong...even though I found a really poor basic attack compared to the character, this is the only thing which I think could be improved at least against certain types of units:dxmupvote:
