This mod was commissioned by Ангел смерті

Disclaimer This is a very niche mod that might come off weird. Considering the Walking Dead series had multiple of main characters have a pregnancy arc[walkingdead.fandom.com] and it it was perceived as something normal, I expect same treatment in relation to this mod. There are plenty of people who are inspired by the series and wanna play their own Walking Dead scenario in Project Zomboid. Just don't make it weird and it won't be weird. Also, mod wasn't extensively playtested so bugs are possible. Will be resolving those if there are any bugreports. Best Regards, coder behind the mod

This mod adds Pregnancy mechanic to the game
It's made in a form of a trait. There are also mechanics included that simulate effects of pregnancy. Currently only obtainable as a starting trait. If you give the trait to character via admin/debug menu, make sure to re-enter server (or reload the save if you in singleplayer) so mod recognizes that the character has the trait now.


What does it do:
Simulates effects of pregnancy. Successful pregnancy will reward you with positive perk, unsuccessful can kill your character and gives negative perk. There are sandbox options present.
  • Slows down movement as it progresses
  • Increases water and calories consumption, scaling to wards the end of pregnancy
  • Lowers carry weight
  • Morning sickness
  • Inducing labor at the end of pregnancy period with it's own mechanics, including preventing movement, your character screaming, etc.
  • Tracking mental state over course of pregnancy (affects character and infant chance to die)
  • Smoking/Alcohol impact (affects infant chance to die)
  • Post-labor exhaustion

What does it not do:
  • Create child after labor (creating an NPC is completely out of scope of this mod)
  • Change character graphics (character at 1 week looks the same as at 9 months), if someone wants to change it, feel free to provide solution.

Ask for permission This mod can only be added to and extended with the express permission from the original creator. Having received permission, credit must be given to the original creator, both within the files of the mod and wherever the mod roams online.
