Description
Wish there were more Demon Hearts? Craft yourself an Artifact with a Life Crystal and Relic at your nearest Altar!

28 Artifacts for 28 Terraria Relics. Each one permitting you to increase your max accessory count.

Sounds like too many Accessory Slots? I AGREE! Therefore we have a Boss by Boss config allowing you to pick and choose which recipes to allow .
By default only Deerclops, Empress of Light, and Betsy are enabled, but Please feel free to change things up. Thats why we play mods after all.

Want the artifacts, but dont enjoy Master Mode gameplay? Theres a fix for that too!
In the config there is the option "Relics for Crafting". This is enabled by default, but turning it off will switch the recipe to use Trophies instead.


Update!
Added two chat commands to make life a little easier.

/artifacts - references your config and character to see what artifacts that you have consumed already.

/available - same deal, but lists the artifacts you HAVENT yet consumed. a to do list as it were.

Bit more technical Information here.

Slots are saved to the Character, not the world. So switching worlds will not remove your extra accessories.

If you enter a world that disables one of your characters Artifacts, your character's corresponding accessory slot becomes disabled as well. Behaving similar to a Demon Heart accessory slot in a Normal difficulty world, the greyed out slot still permits you to retrieve your items from them and hides away if empty.
This DOES NOT remove the slot from your character though! Switching back to a world with the artifact enabled will bring the accessory slot right back!

Disabling an artifact hides the recipe from the game, ensuring that it cannot be crafted. However accidents, glitches, and cheekiness occur so attempting to use an artifact that the config has disabled will return the message "The World resists this item!" Keeping the artifact, but not granting the accessory slot.

Config also allows an item called the Artifact Cleanser to be crafted. (Life Crystal, Mana Crystal, at an Altar)
Using this item WILL REMOVE ALL ARTIFACT ACCESSORY SLOTS from a character. You are free to reacquire the slots via crafting more Artifacts, but it is the reset option for this mod.


This has been tested in Single-Player, Multi-Player, and across Terraria worlds without bugs.... But I know better than to think that makes it 'Perfectly Balanced.' If you notice odd behavior please leave a comment describing such events and I will give a go at fixing it. (Do note I am a novice at this.)


Will I be adding Artifacts based on other mod's Bosses?
Honestly? Prolly not. While I love cross compatibility, even enabling all of the slots from base Terraria feels like too many for the Game to function well.

Hello, could you please add the bosses from the Calamity and Fargo mods, as well as the collapse button so that you can scroll through all the slots, please unsubscribe.

It's an excellent mod, it only needs one thing to be perfect, adding too many spaces makes it difficult to see the game, they could add a button to hide the UI of the accessories and press it again to deploy

well the mod hase problems for me i paly in mastermod calamity+thorium+fargos and the only relic that is working is the dearclopse one the othere ones is asking me to do a restart i do and is still keeping othere bosses as off

This bosses I like to enable for this mod are the evil biome bosses, skeleton and plantera

I'd agree that it'd probably be too much to add slots for every boss in a mod- especially a mod like Thorium that adds a dozen other bosses.
At the same time, though, cross-mod support would be very nice, because if one is reserved about which Relics can become Artifacts, it could be a nice way to incentivize doing bosses you'd otherwise skip, or bosses who are a milestone in their mod.
