Description
OVERVIEW
Hello all!
This is the updated version of the All Diplomatic Options mod by FiftyTifty who will be unable to update the original mod for the foreseeable future but has kindly given me permission to maintain and update this awesome mod for coming updates. Factions added by Patch 4.0 (minus the Changeling) can now be vassalised/liberated.


A possible oversight by CA, was to give some factions settlements, but not have them actually own them. That meant you could not liberate a handful of factions.

When playing as a modded race, you may get many "Liberate" options when conquering settlements. If you are planning to play a modded race that is not in the list of compatible mods below, then it is recommended that you disable this mod.

Compatible mods so far:
- Cataph's Southern Realms
- OVN Fimir
- OVN Albion
- OVN Dread King
- Legions of Nagash
- Gnoblar Hordes - The Unwashed Masses
- OvN Araby

Keep in mind, that adding this compatibility means that there would be empty race slots as placeholders for the above races in the faction select screen when Mixer is enabled and those mods are disabled. If you are not using Mixer then this will not happen. FIXED

IMPORTANT
Modded factions CANNOT be liberated. That would require editing the startpos which this mod does not do.

The Maneaters do not have access to vassalisation options as they cannot make alliances.

KNOWN ISSUES
- Duplicate versions of modded heroes may spawn when the faction it is tied to is revived. To my understanding, this is because that hero is scripted to spawn for that faction at the start of the game when it is "spawned in". The game considers reviving a dead faction as them being spawned in for the first time and so gives the hero it's told to give again. I don't believe there is anything I can do to fix that on my end. Thanks to Dredd_87 for notifying me of it.

- Liberate currently brings the faction as a military ally instead of a vassal. Use the Fudging Vassals mod alongside this to get a dilemma between military ally and vassal once a faction is revived.

Whats required to liberate a faction? can i liberate a faction from any of their previous settlements or does it need to be a specific one? sry if this was answered somewhere else.

Apologies for the stupid question, but does this work in multiplayer?
I couldn't find anything in the description and I don't think there was a definitive answer given in the comments...and the original mod page doesn't load to check there.

This mod is great. Although it doesn't seem to work with empire factions or dwarf factions. Kinda frustrating when I destroy Von Carstein, and then push to Bufdhar and can't liberate it. Also using "recruit defeated legendary lords" mod
