How is it nostalgic?

No? Well, too bad! I did and I loved it!
We tried making it as close to the antique esque style that I grew up watching without it looking like deadzone, those textures really haven't aged well...

The actual "horde" gamemode had so many problems within itself that it was baffling how barebones everything was.
Firstly, if a zombie gets stuck somewhere, it's stuck there, it doesn't respawn, so if one gets stuck on geometry outside of the player's reach, the entire thing grinds to a halt!
Secondly, variety, on the old horde mode there is no way to spawn anything but the normal zombie, if all 3 maps were just shooting regular turned which did nothing special, it would get boring and repetitive very quickly.

"What do I do when I enter a map???"

Use the beacon given to you and place it in its designated spot aka put the battery at the end of the radio's cables.


"The map is too hard!"

It was designed to be challenging for 1 player but also be fun. The items provided are meant to upgrade you to the point of a killing machine able to mow down crowds, cumulating XP and only using the pistol is not the recommended way to play!


"How do I get better weapons?"

Look around the map for weapon outlines on the walls.


"How do I progress?"

Complete the current map's objective pointed to by arrows.


"This is boring! It's only shooting zombies!"

Well, this is the kind of gameplay it was back in the day.
