Item Fusion + WH Coins

Description
This is a mod containing both Hammer Coins + Item Fusion by 히토미라. Since the author has deleted both mods, I'm taking care of them. This is a personal mod that I've decided to share with the community outside my group of friends and while I'm well open to feedbacks, I don't plan to change most features inside or do multiple versions just because somebody doesn't like XYZ.

This mod enables the fusion of items/ancillaries of every rarity. Fusing two ancillaries of blue rarity will create a purple ancillary/item. Fusing two purple items will resort in a gold ancillary/item.
Gold items are game changing items that enable specific powers / abilities usually only obtainable only in end game or in some quest battles or powerful passives that can change how you play the game, giving you a chance to try out harder difficulties, different army compositions and so on. Some effects aren't applied immediately, but only after a save/load or after fighting a battle.

All vanilla characters have all item slots unlocked. All heroes/lords from all vanilla races will have 2x item slots. A new dilemma happens turn 2 (could be postponed if another mod forces its own dilemma that turn) to jumpstart your search for the best gold items, if the user wants that.

All items (even character specific uniques!) have been made tradable and equippable to all characters. Ever wondered what Karl Franz could do while wielding both the Chainsword and the Slaneesh's Blade? Now you can.
While all vanilla items in the game have been made transferable to every other characters, modded items will retain their restrictions. Mods reworking effects/sets of vanilla items are compatible with this mod.

A shop (via mortuary cult) for every faction in the game has been added to buy an ancillary token coin, which must then be fused to gamble for green/blue/purple/gold items. Each fusion costs 1/2/4/8k gold.

The mod received a lot of new additions ever since its first release. More infos are available inside the change notes.

The mod will react very poorly whenever CA updates the game, due to 2 tables datacored and the amount of vanilla effects used by my items. As such, an old version of the mod will 100% cause CTDs.
Wait for me to update the mod after each big patch and, if CTDs persist even after my update, unsub/resub to force Steam to download it again.

@Virgils'Shadow There is absolutely nothing here that can cause CTD if the mod is updated. There are no lua scripts, no new models that may load badly, nothing. There is a certain limitation in the engine of the game regarding buffs - something that you can reach if you overstack too many items on top of each other - but that is game related and there is nothing I can do about it.

I've been using this kind of mod for several years at this point, back from when 히토미라 released it and since when I started changing it to better fit my tastes, and I've never CTD due to it. I run a 150-170 mods setup and all of my very rare CTDs are at the end of turn, due to my own personal setup that causes wayyy too many armies to run around, with my own changes to supply lines, upkeep and AI army management, but even then I can reopen the game and start from the end of turn save file like nothing has happened.

I think you need to look somewhere else.

I love that you are caring for these mods. i enjoy having them in my campaigns. I am though unable to load the game with it enabled. i do commonly use multiple mods however this is the most common to be the cause of crashes or unable to fully lunch the game. Do you think you might update soon/make a more compatible friendly version? I cant count the number of times i get to midway campaign and then the next day the mod causes a crash. Ive been using it less because of that. Still believe its a great mod.

@Akadaime Total items is shared between all characters - it doesn't matter if AI or Human. The change was made to incentivise the use of gold items without having to compromise the purple sets.

It's also needed for AI to use golden items.

Can AI also equip a total of 10 items — 2 of each type like the player — or is it limited to just 5 items in total?

@Allerian Only the coin shop doesn't work with modded factions. To add the coin shop, follow the steps below.

You need to create a submod that adds those specific factions into the db/campaign_group_member_criteria_cultures_tables. Create a "member" with a name you choose, "context" actor and those factions as "culture".
Then, add your "member" to the hitomila_WH_coin_craft in the db/campaign_group_members_tables.
Then, you can add a text with a .loc file inside, with the line ui_text_replacements_localised_text_crafting_button_tooltip_(insert_culture_here) inside to add a name to the button.

Regarding items, sets, and locks around a specific character, there are a few tables you'd need to change, but I'm sure that there are guides around for that.

I'm not datacoring ancillary_uniqueness_groupings_tables.
I don't understand what "remove dawi runes entry" means.
What "rune items" are you talking about?
