Super City Pack

Description
This mod adds randomly generated cities into the game.

AUTHORS NOTES:

I originally intented this to be a feature of Super Dungeon Pack but at the time I didn't know how to implement it properly.

My intent with SDP was to improve the games variation and replay value through randomization. I always felt that Starbounds crafting based progression and meta was much too linear. I did not believe that starbounds meta should be static. I believed that starbounds meta should be randomly generated.

THE MOD:

This mod adds new cities as system objects that spawn in the same way as trade stations. These cities have two major features: Markets and guilds.

Markets:

In the market the player is able to buy nearly everything necessary for game progression. I used the Ursa Miner as the balance point for the pricing of goods. From the markets you can buy things such as crafting materials, augs, mech blueprints, tier 6 armor etc. You can also buy all 4 EPPs from an npc near the starting point.

Guilds:

Guilds provide players with quests that the player can complete for monetary compensation. Most quests are not repeatable and they are chosen randomly from a pool of quests. Each city can have 4 guilds, and there are currently 7 guilds that can spawn in a city.

These guilds are designed to encourage the player to interact with the games less established features, such as fossil hunting, fishing, hunting, bug catching, farming, cooking, etc. Combining with the market the player is now able to progress the game with money they make by completing guild quests.

Other stuff:

You can find my other mod, Super Dungeon Pack from here:

If you for some reason want to, you can spawn the city with the command:

/placedungeon scp_spacecity

They are stations that can spawn in orbit of stars.

What music plays in the cities? I really like it, but can't pin down the name.

I was able to replicate the crash on my end. Apparently if an NPC was sleeping in a station medical scanner in the markets medical stall and the player ran off far enough the game would crash with the effect duplicate error. I was only able to replicate the crash in a tier 8 arcana system with the new arcana update. Idk if arcana is involved, it could be something else or maybe the problem was always there and it simply escaped me. It is possible that the crash could occur in other environments as well.

Anyway I released a hotfix by removing the station medical scanner. It fixed the problem on my end so I hope it will on yours too.

I've been kicked back to the ship with the same error. I have no idea which other mod it could possibly be conflicting with.

Caused by: (LuaComponentException) Duplicate callbacks named 'effect' in LuaBaseComponent

This line seems to be the cause.

[05] 0x7ff7fcb888c6 (StarLuaComponents.cpp:32) Star::LuaBaseComponent::addCallbacks
[06] 0x7ff7fc98ea7d (StarStatusController.cpp:773) Star::StatusController::initUniqueEffectScript
[07] 0x7ff7fc98e62c (StarStatusController.cpp:413) Star::StatusController::init
[08] 0x7ff7fc81337a (StarNpc.cpp:172) Star::Npc::init

The lines that come after implies that it could have something to do with npcs, but I'm not sure since I'm not very good with scripts. You might want to check if you are using duplicate or older versions of the mods in your list.

@🅱ule mb, just fixed it.

I deleted the Universe, but I encountered another bug.

When I ran to the leftmost area of a city, I get booted back to my ship. I can still beam down to the city, but I'll be avoiding the left area.

I'll paste another log if I encounter it again.
