Replacing the in-game FSR2 with DLSS/XeSS

Installation V1

1. Extract this mod to the game's root folder. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield)
2. Press END in the game to open the menu for the upscaler, and you can select DLSS or XeSS.
3. You need to turn on FSR2 in the game's settings, cuz this mod replaces FSR2 with DLSS/XeSS.


Set your render resolution in game to these percentages for the following DLSS Presets:

77% - ULTRA QUALITY
66% - QUALITY
59% - BALANCED
50% - PERFORMANCE
33% - ULTRA PERFORMANCE (C:\Users\Documents\My Games\Starfield\StarfieldPrefs.ini -> fRenderResolution ScaleFactor = 0.3300)

Installation V2

Delete your previous installation of V1 (mods folder, dxgi.dll)

To get to your game directory:

Xbox:
- Right click -> Click on 'Manage' -> Click on 'Files' -> Click on 'Browse...'
- Then go into the 'Starfield' folder, then 'Content' - you should now see 'Starfield.exe'.
Steam:
- Right click on the game in your library -> 'Manage' -> Click on 'Browse local files...'
- You should now see 'Starfield.exe'.

Extract it into the game directory. (After extraction, FSRBridge.asi, winmm.ini, winmm.dll, nvngx_dlss.dll should be right next to Starfield.exe)


Set your render resolution in game to these percentages for the following DLSS Presets:

66% - QUALITY
59% - BALANCED
50% - PERFORMANCE

Notes

- Performance gain depends on how much you are GPU limited, if you don't see any gains it's very normal, you are most likely CPU limited.
- Use the regular FSR2 options in the in-game settings menu to configure DLSS/XeSS.
- As DLSS does not include a sharpening pass, the image will look a bit softer than native FSR2.
- If you do want an additional sharpening pass, you can install the newest version of ReShade yourself and use CAS - this should keep the Steam Overlay/Input working.

You're not helping people, you're taking credit for other peoples work instead of linking people to direct sources. You say you're repacking the mods to make it an ease of install for people but without any of the hardwork of actually doing it legally. Literally could of coded up a program in Pyhton that does everything you want and then some using executables but decided to just repack the mods which isn't fair use and then repack the DLSS DLL's which is against nvidia's ToS for the DLSS SDK. You went above and beyond to break thew law in two different ways, then tried to say it's all fair use when it isn't then resort to insults when you run out of a defense when accused otherwise. You're literally a joke of these forums and the modding community.

Also those hours are inaccurate for the most part. Destiny 2 yes, DayZ yes (RP), R6 nope (thanks ubisoft for running in the background), RDR (Counts towards my hours in Source 2007, resource used for fivem/redm), DBD yes.

Also it's funny how you tried to say I have more hours played by pointing out my top 5 games yet failed to showcase how many games you have over 100 hours in (news flash: it's 10)
