Description
A new 2 mission campaign featuring a lot of cut and custom made content.

About The Mod
Mercury Rising is a custom campaign using a variety of cut and custom assets all of which have been edited to some extent to work properly. The mod is fairly open and you can take different routes to reach your destination which will give you a different experience every time you play.
Co-op
The mod supports co-op up to 4 players over split-screen and 2 over online play. Use the alpha ring mod to play on split-screen. Each player has a slightly different character model and all players appear during cutscenes.
Equipment
There are 2 new grenade types:
  • Bubble Shield - Provides cover for 10 seconds
  • Health Regeneration - Restores health and shields for players and allies. Slightly repairs vehicles
Multiplayer
There are currently 2 multiplayer maps featured in the mod. If there is a demand I may add more.
Soundtrack
The mod features a unique soundtrack made by cheechas. He just released his debut EP, go and take a listen!

Skulls
Catch and Sputnik skulls are disabled because they break some things in this mod.
Stuck on loading screen
If you get stuck on loading screen you need to install Halo CE multiplayer.

I hardly ever leave comments, but i just have to for this. This is hands down the best halo mod I have played. So polished, with fully voiced missions and NPCs. Everything new feels like it was meant to be in halo all along. Well BLAMing done.

@altis94 thank god. I got my ass kicked most of the way through mission 2 until I found out the hard way that MCC only has one resume slot for custom campaigns.

It is genuinely so difficult to explain just how good this is in a single steam comment. It's like an alternative universe take on CE. The entire experience manages to feel so much like both Halo CE, and like stuff that came out years before it.

The sheer number of additions to the weapons, enemies, vehicles, and other sandbox elements, the music and visual style, the level design. All of it is so good that it almost feels like an insult to call this a mere Mod.

If there's any community-made content just begging to be made into a full game, it's stuff like this. I hope in the future we can get a custom firefight with this mod's content to explore the depths of this sandbox further.
