EWR VJ-101 VTOL

The VJ-101 was a German experimental mach capable VTOL aircraft developed in the 1960's. The end goal was the development of a mach 2 capable VTOL aircraft. The plane was not successful in reaching mach 2 due to the projects cancellation but it wasn't a failure either 2 were built and they did achieve mach 1.08 flight and successful hover to level flight transitions

My version of the aircraft however has teeth and has a fighting spirit. sporting 4 missiles and a gimbled gun-turret

the plane itself has nothing special going for it other than its fast and can do VTOL ops
be careful with startup it can be finicky and the landing gear are horrifically bad
