Batman - Batwing

Description
Note, this is a SV for the Reforge Eden mod! A few components are likely to be missing in the vanilla, but these can be replaced with standard components.

-----------------

After looking back at the first Zack Snyder Batman from 2016 recently and seeing the Badwing in action, I thought I had to have this one. This is the result of this not entirely uncomplicated project. The central body was made fairly quickly, but the shaping to form the two pylons was a nightmarish creation process. I have refrained from additionally posting pictures of the template from the net here in order not to bring any copyright infringement into the house. I hope the result is convincing and everyone can look for the vehicle even if they are not familiar with the film. What I still miss about the vehicle is the distinctive bubbling sound... :-)

The SV is amazingly agile and lives up to its role model. The mobility in all directions is at maximum and the acceleration and counter-acceleration can be rated as good. Turning on all axes is good to very good. The shield is in the brisk range with almost 4750 points and a recharge rate of 125. This ship is a fast fighter and shield ship by design. That means it only stays in combat until the shield starts to deplete. Before he is finally down, leave the combat zone to regenerate the shield. The ship only has plastic armor (nothing) and lives on its mobility and the skill of its pilot. So far for now.
Now we come to the problem, the ship's armament is completely based on the original. That means two heavy miniguns in front, no, they don't rotate around a common axis like film (even if it looks like this would be possible) and that's it. Of course, this is a joke for serious applications in the late game in Empyrion RE, I know that. But I wanted to build a Badwing here and nothing more, there are plenty of powerful SVs here in the workshop. But if you want, you can of course make changes here. Any upgrade options and where components are located can be seen in the exploded view.

Like almost all my ships, this ship has ViSi, which is a graphic representation of the active signals - visualized signals, i.e. ViSi. This display can only be seen in the pilot's view and gives you a precise overview of the active signals in addition to the existing displays (which can also be seen in the outside view). Of course, this is only useful if you use the signal switches in the main area of the Control Panel. To be clear, when I turn off the turrets and weapons with the general switches, I naturally override the signals and all weapons are off - although the signal switches and visi tell me otherwise. I hope the problem is recognized and I don't have to listen to stories of persecution, loss and half dead.

ViSi is designed for my screen resolution, I use a native resolution of 2560x1440, which means that the LCDs are in the positions shown in the cockpit view. Players with FullHD resolution 1920x1080 shouldn't have any problems either. At other resolutions, the displayed LCD may be either too centered on the screen, or partially or completely off screen. You can roughly change the position of the LCDs with the X, Y and Z-Offset controls. Y better leave them as they are. You change the horizontal with the Z value and the vertical with the X value. Fine adjustment Vertically adjust with the increase or decrease of the first <size=xxx%> value, horizontally adjust with the <margin=xx.x> value. Everything else is better left alone. If they damage the LCD code, the only way to recover is to remove the LCD and then repair it. The LCDs are not rocket science, but you should act carefully and methodically at the beginning.

If you want to change or improve this model, you are welcome to publish a modified design as long as you do not hide my authorship.

Have fun with the Batwing - enjoy!
