[Commission] Storms of Infinity: The Royal Dragoons

The Regiment of Royal Dragoons was intended as a versatile fighting force, capable of skirmishing on foot in loose order or conducting sabre charges to delay an invading force while the rest of the army’s regiments formed up.

On the eve of the Dozen Year’s War, this regiment was regarded in low respute, as “barely cavalry” little better than the scoundrels of the line infantry regiments. The coming conflicts would prove the assertion wrong.

• The Pattern 576 cavalry carbine is rifled and short barreled, offering improved accuracy and velocity compared to a full length infantry musket. For gameplay purposes, you can expect zero spread and a velocity of 380 m/s with around a 10 second reload time.
  
  
• The Pattern 588 light cavalry sabre serves as the secondary weapon of the dragoons, primarily used from horseback but still formidable on foot in open environments.

During the DYW the dragoons proved supremely versatile, serving as scouts, light shock cavalry, shock infantry, and skirmishers.
