Craftable Altars - Now with 1.4.4!

Description
You can now use the Altar everywhere!
Combine 20 Crimtane/Demonite Bars and 15 Tissue Samples/Shadow Scales at the Altar!
Dig it with a pickaxe!

in 1.4.4.9 only the top/leftmost two tiles of the altar gets placed (in a similar 1x2 configuration) and spawns two pieces of the item form when broken.

Are they just used to craft or can they be used to get hardmode ores if broken?

Can be crafted in Demon Altar with 20 Crimtane/Demonite Ingots and 15 Tissue Sample/Shadow Scale.
