Ah. I am almost exactly the opposite, highly confident in exterior design but my interiors suffer as a result.

This one kind of happened simultaneously. I began from the nose by designing the exterior first, and then by the time I had reached the bridge, I began designing from the interior. The rear end of the ship ended up being much blockier as a result, so I went back and added more parts to try and break up the outline a little.

Usually I design from the inside out, as I am more confident with interior design than I am when it comes to exteriors.
