TWD Crossover event quickest methods

This guide will show you the easiest and quickest methods to complete The Walking Dead crossover event challenges.

Introduction

Before we get into this, please note that you will need to have access to the Central Loop as most of the guide takes place there, You will also need to have these Windmills unlocked: Oak (Quarry End), Magnolia (The Wharf), Pine (Downtown).

If you miss any of the daily challenges, you can go back to that day's challenge by changing the date on your PC to the day of the challenge, this can also be used to do the upcoming challenges using the same process.

Personal Goal

Goal: Kill 850 Enemies

For this one we will be doing "The Dream Factory" combat challenge located in "The Wharf" district (Make sure you have the "Magnolia" Windmill activated or else you won't be able to find the challenge).

Day 1 - March to War

Goal: Kill 50 Bandits/Renegades with a blunt weapon

You have a few options for this one. The first and best method is to clear all of the bandit camps if you didn't clear them yet, The second option is to just roam around in the Central Loop and look for the Renegades random encounters, or the third option which is to head to the Saint Paul island, or the Lower Dam Ayre near the Church of Saint John of God as the bandits and Renegades spawn rate there is quite high.

Day 2 - Just Another Day at The Office

Goal: Kill 120 Infected with environmental damage

You will need to return to The Wharf district and go back to The Dream Factory challenge for this one, You can easily do it in 2 times of doing the challenge which takes exactly 1 to 2 minutes.

Just a reminder: Make sure you have the "Magnolia" Windmill activated or else you won't be able to find the challenge.

Day 3 - The Fall

Goal: Kill 120 enemies with fall damage

For this one we will be doing the "Ultimate Fury Cricket" combat challenge located in the "Quarry End" district in Old Villedor, (Make sure you have the "Oak" Windmill activated or else you won't be able to find the challenge). It will take 6 times of doing the challenge.

Day 4 - Fear the Hunters

Goal: Kill 150 Enemies using ranged weapons

For this one we will be doing the "Santa Muerte" combat challenge located in the "Downtown" district in Central Loop, Please note that you have to give the Downtown electrical substation to The Peacekeepers as well as having the "Pine" Windmill activated or you won't be able to find the challenge.

If you own and have access to the Bloody Ties DLC, you can do the Treasure Hunt combat challenge and kill the infected using the Quad Damage accessory gun. The challenge is located in the Horseshoe district in Old Villedor, (This is the best method, if you have access to the DLC use this one and skip the rest of the methods).

There are a few alternative methods for those of you who do not own the DLC, or already gave the substation to the Survivors or do not want to side with the PKs as the Santa Muerte and the Treasure Hunt challenges are only exclusive to them.
The first option is to do the Harper Regular chapter mission, just make sure you have the Hunter's crossbow equipped and have enough arrows, (You can also do the Harper Elite mission but I prefer the Regular mission as you can do it using your own gear and not a preset one, It is also much easier and quicker to finish, so you can do it multiple times to reach the goal). You can also do the Shen Xiu Elite chapter mission.

There is one more method which will also require a Crossbow/bow (I prefer using a crossbow as crossbows are much quicker and also faster to reload). Head to locations with lots of enemies like Evacuation and Military convoys, Bandit Camps and Metro Stations.













If you do not know where to get a crossbow, you need the chapter 2 agent Shen Xiu for it, You can find the location and more details in the screenshots below.

Day 5 - Look Mom, just like Michonne!

Goal: Dismember 150 infected using slashing weapons

You have a couple of options for this one, The first and best method is to go back to The Dream Factory challenge and slash the infected (I personally like this one as the preset weapon you are given in the challenge does mere damage that will mostly only cause dismemberment and not kill the infected which makes reaching the goal much easier), or you can just roam around the Evacuation and Military convoys and slash the infected you come across.

Day 6 - Whispers Into Screams

Goal: Kill 120 Infected using explosives

Go back to The Dream Factory challenge and use the car traps and the propane tanks to kill the infected, keep re-doing the challenge once you run out of explosives or propane tanks, there is a little trick to make things easier which is to use the propane tanks first to lower the health of the infected, then use the car trap as the car trap does more damage which grants you more kills.

Day 7 - A Certain Doom

Goal: Kill 80 Special Infected

You have a few options for this one, The best method is to do the Between Two Fires combat challenge, but you need to own and have access to the Bloody Ties DLC for it, if you do have access head to the Houndfield district in Old Villedor, it will take exactly 4 times of doing the challenge to reach the goal. If you do not have access to the DLC, you can either do the Harper Regular chapter mission or, the Harper Elite chapter mission, you can also do the Shen Xiu Elite chapter mission.
I personally prefer the Harper Regular mission as you can use your gear instead of a preset one.

@stealthy ah I see I didn't know that! I pretty much just started as the crossover event came out so I didn't have much ways to do the challenges most guides recommend, it was the only way I could do the ranged challenge too as I have yet to unlock any xD

@A J , You have to side with the peacekeepers in that area though, that's why I didn't include it in the guide.

For any newbies such as myself that is fairly new and can't take on volatiles without struggling, not have the dlc nor the tickets for the Harper Missions I recommend the Dirty Job challenge at Horseshoe location, it's no way at all the fastest but it just might be the easiest way for someone new as there is a pk razor cannon turret you can use and occasionally there are Goons and Banshees
