Charitable Rust x charity: water

Contest Rules
  • Use #CR2023 as official contest tag in workshop.
  • No re-uploading old or previously submitted skins.
  • Do not steal or use any copyrighted or otherwise trademarked content.
  • Must be 100% original work (can work with others if all are listed on workshop page).
  • Must follow all basic workshop submission rules and standards.
  • if using the charity’s logo, it cannot be used on any weapon skins. Only Charitable Rust logo may be used on weapon skins.
  • Submissions must be high quality and Hi-Res, normals properly done/baked.
  • Cannot contain offensive or sexual content.
  • Don’t forget upload limit for the amount of skins you may submit. (normal contest WS rules)
  • Skins must be submitted by midnight(23:59) PST August 29, 2023.

Would you like to help promote fundraising for charity by creating a Twitch Drop skin? Oh, and a chance to win a year of Platinum VIP on Rustafied servers? Well Charitable Rust is just around the corner on Sat Oct 14th!

Facepunch generously adds several exclusive Twitch Drop skins during the week of Charitable Rust to help promote fundraising for charity. This year, the selected charity is charity: water. Over the past 8 years, we’ve raised over one million dollars for various charities!

For This years contest we will be looking for submissions with the themes in Inspiration Section below for this years Twitch Drops!

Inspiration
General thoughts / ideas:
  • Fridge - Glowing fridge full of water bottles, maybe a big aquarium?

  • Double wooden doors - An artistic water scene or some abstract glowing water

  • Guns - Stick to Charitable Rust / red color scheme. Abstract, vibrant, maybe some low poly patterns.

  • Specific gun skins we’d like to see: l96, m39, tommy, SAR, double barrel.

  • Other items we’d like to see skinned - Furnaces, lockers, chair, water purifier, rugs, burlap clothes, tables, hammers.

  • *Other thoughts - The charity is all about bringing clean water to people, so anything related to water pumps, water filtration, water reservoirs, etc. We also love glowing stuff!

One (1) year of Platinum VIP on Rustafied servers

Note that all prizes will be distributed the week after Charitable Rust. The selected skin creators will be automatically assigned the VIP.
