admirer & user of your mods. excellent at fleshing out groups, staying true to vanilla lore & preacher cult is perfect underdeveloped vanilla group needing a face lift.
thoughts on the preacher patrol. the current preacher patrol is as strong as a UC invasion company. that seems to be a bit much for a small, scrappy cult.
[below i'm using reaver patrol squad (8-10 people) and reaver ironclad patrol squad (10-12 led by reaver ironclad) as reference]
so starting out maybe
1. downsize INITIAL preacher patrol. they're small & scrappy. sending out a patrol to snatch people fits. should be small, similar to reaver patrol in size & strength.
2. player allies w/ cult, preacher patrol increases to reaver ironclad patrol, possibly adding second regular size reaver preacher patrol?
3. reactive world impacts - no player alliance; single reaver size patrol
a) player attacks UC, destroys eyesocket or slave farm or both, there is percentage chance farming village falls to preacher cult
b) player attacks UC, destroys eyesocket, slave farm & Preacher Cult takes farming village preacher patrols increase to three; 2 each size of reaver patrol, one size of reaver ironclad patrol (gain more people = number of patrols, patrol size & strength increase)
c) a & b happen, & valamon is captured, percentage chance brink falls to preacher cult (could include coastal fishing village)
d) a, b, c happen 4 preacher patrols (2 reaver, 2 ironclad reaver) and maurading preacher company, which is what goes out now
