This is the message I get when i use the flying hammer. It comes and goes every 4 seconds while the flying hammer is equipped. Idk if anyone is having this trouble, maybe it might be related to another mod that enables this message to show up.
*you might need admin on and pippi installed for this to work im not sure as ive not been able to replicate the bug outside of admin access since i found this fix*
1. when you have the sliding bug, press shift+up. I'm pretty sure this is a shortcut to increase/decrease admin fly speed. I am not sure if its from vanilla or if its from Pippi but for some reason it instantly fixes the hammer sliding.
1. equip the flying hammer.
2. go ahead and slide your way outside your claim (you will automatically stop flying when you reach the end of the zone).
3. unequip and re-equip the flying hammer.
4. make a new solid foundation (not a fence foundation as im not sure they work the same).
5. note you can now fly without sliding. yay.
6. delete the random foundation and head back to base to continue building.
Just a temporary fix that's been working for me while the true fix is being worked on.
As for flight randomly not working, its only happened to me once and went away when the server restarted. I havent had that one since. I have a feeling its got something to do with using fence foundations and no solid foundations, but its all speculation based of my personal experience and setup. I have no mod creation know-how on this game :P
If it doesn't then could you please let me know the following information?
1. Are you in singleplayer or online?
2. What's your modlist?
3. If you're playing online, is the server known to have lag issues already?
Cheers.
Awesome mod regardless, but this minor problem really drives me bonkers.
