Guardians of the Galaxy's "Knowhere"

Descrição
The severed head of a celestial God floating in space.

This is just a 3D model that I've run through SE Toolbox to render in an empty world. The skull is hollow inside with the entrance at the base of it, where the spine would attach.

It's totally unfurnished as it were but there's a fair amount of space in there.

I would have liked to render it a bit larger but SE Toolbox seemed to crash if I went any larger than this, sorry. It would have been a nice idea for a community build if it was much larger.

Anyhoo, enjoy!

Hello Donny, I managed to recover your world and I wanted your permission to republish it.
Thank you.

I was thinking you may be able to exploit the proceduaral nature, if it relies on a seed to place spacestations then you may be able to get a single seed that can place the station in the same place exery time.

^ Now that I think about it my whole idea only applies if your skull asteroid is spawned in by the game randomly/proceduaraly.
(not sure how mods work at all here) If you make a starting map like the "Easy start 1" platform could you include the details this way? I think the starting asteroid and platform are identice each time so it should reliably place the station and skull asteroid in the same alignment.

@Nyalldavis

I could give it a whirl yeah but I'm not sure how that'd work. I imagine that if Keen added the station in then in would appear by itself (i.e. without the skull). I think they'd have to group them together in to one entity themselves to make that happen :/

I could be wrong though...

Since Space Engineers now supports "randomly" spawning ships/station to explore.
Could you add a space station that will spawn inside the head to make the robotic eye and other metalic details?

@Nyalldavis

Sorry I don't follow what you mean...

with the ranomly spawining ships could it now be made half-cyborg?

@Sygramyr

Guess you're just going to have to do that and then hand drill it out again :/

Its a horrible pain and they dont seem to actually merge just sort of set inside the other one hmmm oh bother...

1) Remove the jaw.
2) Replace with mechanical jaw.
3) Drills for teeth.
4) Feed it asteroids.

now if you could find a skybox to mimic the space around knowhere and find some ore to mimic the exterior of the skull that would be amazing!
