^ Now that I think about it my whole idea only applies if your skull asteroid is spawned in by the game randomly/proceduaraly.
(not sure how mods work at all here) If you make a starting map like the "Easy start 1" platform could you include the details this way? I think the starting asteroid and platform are identice each time so it should reliably place the station and skull asteroid in the same alignment.
I could give it a whirl yeah but I'm not sure how that'd work. I imagine that if Keen added the station in then in would appear by itself (i.e. without the skull). I think they'd have to group them together in to one entity themselves to make that happen :/
I could be wrong though...
Could you add a space station that will spawn inside the head to make the robotic eye and other metalic details?

Guess you're just going to have to do that and then hand drill it out again :/
2) Replace with mechanical jaw.
3) Drills for teeth.
4) Feed it asteroids.
