The Dog (LRX)

Description
The LRX Dog as MOD !

you can use the dog in others scenario

work 'out of the box', just load addon and start a mission.

The dog can:
not die !
guard a position
follow you (hide when boarding or parachute)
find enemy and bark to mark them
bark when you are wounded (to prevent other player)
return to you, if too far
return a weapon on ground to you
patrol around you and mark enemy
passively detect mines


v0.2 - first edition
v0.3 - support MFR_Dog (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2912186689)
v0.4 - add more dogs (thanks to Moonie)
v0.5 - dog bring gun
v0.6 - dog patrol + detect mines
v0.7 - each dog have a unique voice/tone
v0.8 - add dog marker (real time)
fix mp loading
v0.9 - compatible with pure SP solo mission

v0.10- add Whitelist


Whitelist:
if there is a public variable named "LRX_Dog_Allow",
and the player steamID is in this list, then the player can have a dog.

if this variable don't exist all players can have a dog.

this can be done at any time in the game.

how to use:
LRX_Dog_Allow = [(getPlayerUID player1), (getPlayerUID player2)];
publicVariable "LRX_Dog_Allow";

if nothing else, the `Zeus Additions` mod has a module with a working attack dog (nothing as advanced as this mod), but I haven't done very much testing to know how well it works in the long-term: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2387297579

or via the arma3 console

Where do you put the "LRX_Dog_Allow = [(getPlayerUID player1), (getPlayerUID player2)];
publicVariable "LRX_Dog_Allow"; in the editor? and wouldn't it be easier to use a system like Simplex Support Systems mod of whitelisting a slot's ability to use the dog rather than only assigning it to a specific Steam ID?

I just don't want to use a 'real' seat for him (to keep space for soldiers)

I'm having some trouble getting the whitelist to work. If I try entering the commands in the debug menu they don't seem to work, they just remove the option from everyone even if I just I enter my specific steamID by using the below script:

LRX_Dog_Allow = [76561198045480986];
publicVariable "LRX_Dog_Allow";
