This guide shows you how to play Nyx Assassin like a true assassin. You cannot pick this hero every game and expect it to work. The best time to pick it is when the enemy has:

- An annoying backliner that deals a lot of damage and should not be ignored, such as Sniper, Ancient Apparition, Dark Willow, Zeus, etc.
- A support that has a big spell that can win the game, such as Lich, Enigma, Crystal Maiden, etc.
- More than two low health heroes that you can kill and get an advantage in fights.

Always remember to carry dust.
Any neutral item can be useful depending on the game situation.
