HoI4 Division Templates / HoI4 Division Templateleri

I'm going to share a few division templates that I recommend for those new to Hearts of Iron 4, I hope you like it. (The English translation may not be very good. My native language is not English.)

What is a template? What does it do? How is it done?/Template nedir? Ne işe yarar? Nasıl yapılır?

Templates are the layouts of your troops. They fight in the template way you do in battles. You need Army Experience to change your template. To earn this XP, you can fight, train your army, or send them on fire. Additionally, you can gain XP if you send weapons to a country that is at war.

Arkadaşlar templateler birliklerinizin düzenleridir. Savaşlarda yaptığınız template şekliyle savaşırlar. Template'inizi değiştirmek için Army Experience'e ihtiyacınız vardır. Bu xp'i kazanmak için ise savaşabilirsiniz ordunuzu eğitebilirsiniz veya ateşe gönderebilirsiniz. Ek olarak savaşta olan bir ülkeye silah gönderirseniz xp kazanabilirsiniz.


Now let's look at the area marked in red. The template we made shows whether the tank or the infantry will hunt. There are 2 types of attack statistics in the game, one is soft attack and the other is hard attack. The soft attack represents the damage dealt to the infantry while the hard attack represents the damage done to the tank.

If we look at the bottom, this also shows our advantages or disadvantages in the fields. For example, we are extra faster on a hill and our defense is higher. But as an attack, we fell behind. (according to this template).

Alt kısma bakarsak, burası da arazilerdeki avantajlarımızı veya dezavantajlarımızı gösterir. Mesela tepe olan bir yerde extra daha hızlıyız ve defansımız daha yüksek. Fakat atak olarak geriye düşmüşüz. (bu template'e göre).

What is Combat Width?/Combat Width Nedir?

To put it simply, it shows the width of a battlefield in the game.

The place marked in blue is the combat width of the front, that is, the width of the battlefield. The area I circled in red shows our combat width. The yellow area shows the enemy combat width. As you have noticed, the Soviet side exceeds the width of the conflict by 12 points. "Well, is there any harm in that?" you say?.Of course there is. Because you exceed the combat width, you get an attack/defense penalty based on the rate you exceed. You should pay attention to this

Basic Infantry Template/Temel Piyade Template'i

This template is one of the most basic templates and mostly found in major countries like Germany France UK (there are exceptions like Greece)

If you are playing in singleplayer and you have air support, it is a template that will work. Now let's move on to our next template.

21w Infantry Template/21w Piyade Template'i

This template is suitable for multiplayer defense. However, it is a perfect fit for both attack and defense in singleplayer. If you are a minor country it might be a bit expensive because it costs a lot of artillery.

Bu template, multide savunma içinde uygundur. Fakat singlede hem saldırı hem savunma için de biçilmiş bir kaftandır. Eğer minör bir ülkeyseniz biraz pahalı gelebilir çünkü çok fazla artillery'e mal oluyor.

A quick note/Kısa bir not

You don't have to add the support divisions you see in Tempates at once. This puts a lot of strain on your stock anyway. You can add an Engineer Company and a Support Artillery at first, and if you've been producing since the beginning of the game, you can add Support Anti-Tank and Support Anti-Aircraft.

20w Marine Template/20w Marine Template'i

Marine templates can land more effectively without suffering the -50% naval invasion penalty. likewise they will not receive a river crossing penalty when attacking an enemy behind the river. With a 20w marine template, you can land anywhere in general.

This template is a fake tank template for minor countries. It's perfect for countries that don't have the industry to make tanks. It is quite effective if you have enough air support. 24 divisions are recommended for effective use.

20w Tank Template/20w Tank Template'i

Price performance is a tank template. It is recommended to be used in countries whose industry is not very developed, but which has an industry that can pump tanks, albeit a little.

This is a quite impressive and useful guide. Albeit, I'd add one more: "Space Marines". Basically, 9 infantry divisions, 1 or 2 light tank divisions, support artillery, support engineer company, support logistics company, support signal company, and support light recon tank(or support anti-air, if you like to be risky). Generally, this sort of layout is incredible, to the point where it is (in my experience) prohibited in multiplayer. It turns your rather fleshy infantry into an armoured behemoth that also has incredible breakthrough.
