Upload a Custom Photo to Social Club

Step-by-Step how to Upload a Custom Photo to the Social Club page by using gta5view or libragephoto-wasm.
RDR 2 Support is still in early development and only partial.

Download gta5view Profile Viewer/Editor

You need to download the latest Snapshot.

Note: We need the gta5view early development version for now, no Stable version works for now, or we can use a alternative method later mentioned in the guide.
Note: Since gta5view 1.11.0-edev3 importing pictures should be possible like in this guide.

Create a Photo in Photo Mode

Load into your game (Story Mode) and after the game is loaded press Escape (Esc Key) to open the menu and then press F6 to open the Photo Mode.


Press the Left Mouse Button to make a Photo, and then press Return to leave the Photo Mode.

Edit your Photo in gta5view

Note: When you got a profile selection you have to find out on which profile you are currently playing on.


You should be able to see your new created Photo in your RDR 2 profile now and be able to view it.


Press Manage or right click on the image and then select Overwrite Image...


Press on Options and then select Import new Picture...


After you selected a picture, you need to change the resolution to 1920x1080, and then press Yes if it asks you to move the picture outside of the Avatar Zone.


Now press on Overwrite, after this you should be able to close gta5view and go back in RDR 2.

Open Social Club

Press the Escape (Esc Key) and navigate to Social Club and then press Enter.


Look at the top left and press on the Camera.


After your gallery have loaded you should be able to see your edited Photo and be able to Upload it to Social Club.

Edit your Photo in libragephoto-wasm (alternative method)

Note: Only required when you do not want to use gta5view.


Open the libragephoto-wasm[libragephoto.syping.de] web instance and press Open File...


Go to your RDR 2 profile folder, which you can find at Documents/Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2/Profiles/Your Profile and then select a Photo you want to edit, their name starts with PRDR3.


After your opened a Photo, press Replace JPEG... and then select a picture you want to use.


Now you can press Export Photo and should be able to put the file in your RDR 2 profile folder.

Note: Using the web instance is not as smooth as using gta5view, you need to resize the pictures you use yourself too.
