Custom Image as Social Club Avatar

Step-by-Step how to Upload a Custom Avatar to the Social Club page by using gta5view.

Import your Custom Avatar into your GTA V profile

Note: When you got a profile selection you have to find out on which profile you are currently playing on.


Open gta5view and press the Import... button.


Select your Avatar file you want to Import, you can use .jpg and .png files for this step.


Keep sure that Avatar is checked and that your Avatar looks good inside of the white square, otherwise try to edit it with a external Image editor.


Close gta5view and boot up your GTA V.

Uploading your Avatar into Social Club

Load into your game (Story Mode or Online) and press Escape (Esc Key) and navigate to Gallery and press Left Control (L Ctrl Key) for starting the upload process when you have selected your picture.


Press Pos1 (Home key on some keyboards) to open the Social Club overlay and press the gear at the upper right to open Settings. After that navigate to Change Avatar and select Snapmatic Selfies and Mugshots to see the list of Avatar you are able to upload. Select the Avatar you want to have and press Submit.
Note: It could take sometime until it appears in Social Club after you uploaded it.

View your profile

After you uploaded and selected your Avatar you should take a look at your Social Club profile.
Note: Submitting your Avatar can take sometime because their Server are rendering the Avatar.

After that all is done you should have your Custom Avatar on your Social Club profile ^-^

Yes the picture will be correct automatically after you applied it, it's a Social Club glitch which is few pixel off.

Sweet! I think my Snapmatics are pretty great by themselves (kek), but hiding photos is such a great feature!
