"Is it possible that the Skaven are no less than a manifestation, a dark and morbid reflection of man's cities, his civilisation, even his fears? Are not the Skaven, their religion, and their foul dank world not just a growing shadow and a dark twin of mans deep and barren nature?"

Haematoma update!
Once a minor Skaven warlord clan lost in obscurity, Clan Haematoma rose to prominence under the ruthless leadership of Krethak Goretail, who abandoned the Horned Rat to embrace the bloodlust of Khorne. Their warriors, marked by ritual scars and crimson-streaked fur, are ferocious berserkers driven to slaughter by fanatical devotion to the Blood God. The clan has forged an unholy bond with Khorne’s daemonic legions, summoning Bloodletters, Juggernauts, and even towering Bloodthirsters to lead their battles. With their blood-drenched banners flying high, Clan Haematoma rampages through the Under-Empire and beyond, leaving trails of carnage that testify to their unrelenting worship of slaughter and war. RoC, IE, TOW, and TOWC.

Skaven Clans IE
  • Clan Pestilens - From the infested ruins of Oyxl, Lord Skrolk spreads the plagues of Pestilens throughout Lustria's heartlands.
  • Bubonic Court of Nurglitch - Sitting atop the Altar of the Horned Rat, Nurglitch and his Bubonic Court plot to win the third Skaven Civil War.
  • Clan Morbidus - Having stolen the Temple Avenue of Gold from the Lizardmen, Arch Pontifex Sitch hunts for greater treasures in the Southlands.
  • Clan Septik - With eyes focused on the north from the Altar of Ultimate Darkness, Grrzk Roteye seeks a secure base in Naggarond from which to conquer the foul Dark Elves.
  • Clan Skrat - Nestled in the plague-infested ruins of the Dusk Peaks, Poxtooth schemes his next assault on the Cult of Sotek and the Lizardmen.
  • Clan Verms - Huddled beneath Karag Dron, his last refuge from the fury of the Council of Thirteen, Blight Tenscratch quivers with fear as he hears the marching paws of Clan Volkn, come to burn him from his nest.
  • Clan Treecherik - Gristl Twitchslice has managed to hold on to his seat at the head of Clan Treecherik in Flayed Rock for several days now, making him the most successful lord of the clan in some time. If he survives for another week or two, he will have lasted for an entire month, the best in twenty years.
  • Clan Crooktail - Deep beneath the Chaos Wastes, at the bottom of the Dragon Crossroads, lies the hold of Clan Crooktail. From there, Wastelord Viciss Baukis plots the demise of any who seek to do him harm.
  • Clan Vrrtkin - Sent to the Plain of Dogs by Clan Skryre to devastate an upstart Skaven clan, Trikstab Gridnode and Clan Vrrtkin have been given free reign to deploy their toxic weaponry on all the other inhabitants of the area. Once the Skaven are dead.
  • Clan Fester - From the ruined depths of Karak Azgaraz, Skarrik Spinemanglr and his horde of corrupted ratmen swear death to the Empire of Man.
  • Clan Grudge - The decadence and decay that accompanies the Dragons of Cathay has rubbed off on the Skaven who inhabit the area, causing something most strange to occur - beneath Xen Wu there is a Cult of Slaanesh... led by a rat!
  • Clan Kreepus - Sent to Mordheim by Clan Eshin, Misericorde of Clan Kreepus mines the valuable warpstone as he fends off the ever-encroaching advances of the Empire and others who would come to take his supplies.
  • Clan Feesik - As a thrall clan to Pestilens, Clan Feesik has little independence or resources. Only by the most cagey tactics and snivelling kowtowing to their betters can they hope to survive.
  • Clan Gangrous - From beneath Titan's Notch, Szik Deadeye and the mutilated rodents of Clan Gangrous plot a war against the surrounding Ogre Kingdoms.
  • Clan Gnaw - Duneskulk Skreekblade and Clan Gnaw roam the Badlands from their base beneath Bitterstone Mine, hunting the creatures and Greenskin tribes that dwell in amongst those battered landscapes.
  • Clan Skurvy - The waters off the coast of Naggaroth have seen the strange emergence of a half-dead fleet of rats, noxious and piratical, raiding their landscape.
  • Clan Ferrik - From beneath the conquered Dwarf hold of Karak Dum, Forgemaster Iron-Skull plots his next raid upon the hated Dawi. Only when every Dwarf is enslaved and working in his mines will this Skaven be satisfied.
  • Clan Haematoma - From the swampy jungles of Lustria, Clan Haematoma prepares to surge forth like a crimson tide, their twisted war machines and blood-drenched legions driven by unshakable fury. Wielding the blessings of their infernal patron, they aim to annihilate all who refuse to kneel before the dominion of blood and conquest.

Skaven Clans RoC
  • Bubonic Court of Nurglitch - Concocting foul plagues beneath the Jade Wind Mountain, Nurglitch seeks to unleash his pestilential might upon unsuspecting Cathay.
  • Clan Morbidus - Hidden beneath the mountains of Grim Duraz, Arch Pontifex Sitch turns his greedy eyes on the port city of Marienburg and the man-thing Empire.
  • Clan Vrrtkin - Having taken Karak Vlag from the hated Greenskins, Trikstab Gribnode and Clan Vrrtkin now look for test subjects, and a suitable locale for a new weapon's testing facility. Preferably one with easy access to "subjects".
  • Clan Grudge - The decadence and decay that accompanies the Dragons of Cathay has rubbed off on the Skaven who inhabit the area, causing something most strange to occur - beneath Karak Krakaten there is a Cult of Slaanesh... led by a rat!
  • Clan Gnaw - Duneskulk Skreekblade and Clan Gnaw roam the wastes from their base beneath Blood Haven, hunting the creatures and Greenskin tribes that dwell in amongst those battered landscapes.
  • Clan Haematoma - From the searing depths of the Black Gulch, Clan Haematoma prepares to surge forth like a crimson tide, their twisted war machines and blood-drenched legions driven by unshakable fury. Wielding the blessings of their infernal patron, they aim to annihilate all who refuse to kneel before the dominion of blood and conquest.
