Once this has been done, you need to go to the directory containing the 97 files with the ‘.loc’ ending. Select the first one (__Advice_Info_DeI.loc) and click on rename to copy the file name ‘__Advice_Info_DeI’. Go back to Pack File Manager 5.2.4 in ‘text’ then ‘db’. Select the first file (__Advice_Info_DeI.loc), LEFT-click on it to see the lines on the right. Then at the top, click on ‘Export TSV’, a window will open, select another download directory for the ‘.tsv’ files. Then in the ‘File name’ line (the .tsv is already there), paste the name of the file you have copied in front of the ‘.tsv’, i.e. ‘__Advice_Info_DeI’. In the end, in the new directory for ‘.tsv’ files you'll have a ‘__Advice_Info_DeI.tsv’ file. You'll need to do the same with the 96 others, the next ‘__Advice_Levels_DeI.loc’ downloaded as ‘__Advice_Levels_DeI.tsv’ etc... until the last ‘__Unit_Names_Vanilla.loc’ downloaded as ‘__Unit_Names_Vanilla.tsv’.

For 97 files (not to mention some in ‘lua_scripts’ and ‘script’), you will need to download them as they are in a folder (right-click on the ‘db’ in ‘text’, then ‘Extract’ and ‘Extract All...’).

In the folder you will therefore have the 97 files with the ending ‘.loc’. Go to the folder where you have just downloaded the 97 ‘.loc’ files. Before doing anything else, you need to go back to the ‘Pack File Manager 5.2.4’, then at the top in ‘Options’ tick ‘tsv’ in ‘Extract TSV File Extension’. The .tsv files can be opened with Windows notepad to translate the lines.

The Pack File Manager 5.2.4 on ‘google’. You will have to unzip it and launch the ‘.exe’, indicate the path to Rome II.
