Description
This is a modified version of ctf_2fort with a bunch of tweaks to increase performance, improve loading times and decrease file size. The layout of the map has not been changed.

IMPORTANT: To play the map after subscribing, type "map workshop/2982741922" in console.

CHANGES
- Added distance fade to some props.
- Applied the "nodraw" texture to out of bounds surfaces.
- Removed some insignificant props.
- Optimized lightmaps.
- Reduced the file size significantly.

NOTES
This map is supposed to be a community fix.
This map has no gameplay changes, only visual ones.
The map has been compiled for both HDR and LDR with cubemaps built afterwards.
If you want some feature to be added, feel free to use the comments.

And, of course, all credit for the original map goes to Valve.

this gave 40+ fps. Great map although I did experience a bug the first time I played the game would have 40 fps for a few seconds luckily it was the first few minutes after that everything went at 300 fps for me.

This map should be the default 2fort map in TF2.

You should put this in the voting selection to add items into tf2.:steamhappy:

the 2nd red spawn and both balconies are both overtly aggressive with the optimization, the red spawn has some pieces of level geometry that aren't loaded when they should be, and the balcony optimization could lead to gameplay issues
