Cross of Vidar - Bonus objectives

Overview of all (hidden) Bonus objectives for the Cross of Vidar Story.

Introduction

The follwing table is a spoiler of the bonus objectives for each chapter of the Cross of Vidar story, which is hidden until you finish the chapter for the first time.

Since achieving all bonus objectives might take a long time (up to 3 runs per chapter), this table helps to speed up the process a bit.

SPOILER ALERT: If you don't want to be spoilered on the bonus missions, don't use this guide!

Some bonus objectives require to choose a specific advisor (out of 2 options). In this case you will need at least two runs, to finish each of the bonus objectives with the corresponding advisor and finish the chapter.

Bonus objectives Cross of Vidar

Chapter 1 - Hvergelmir

Number of runs required: 1

• Seal every Gate of Muspell.
  
• Capture Hvedrung in less than 3 years.

Chapter 2 - Briga

Number of runs required: 2

• Chase Lothaire out in less than 3 years. (With Torfin still alive) - Choose Torfin as advisor
  
• Offer 500 Food to the Gayants using gift routes. (With Andhrimnir still alive) - Choose Andhrimnir as advisor

Chapter 3 - Oissel

Number of runs required: 2

• Build at least 5 forts around Oissel. (With Brok still alive) - Choose Brok as advisor
  
• Destroy or capture all 5 forts of Oissel. (With Torfin still alive) - Choose Torfin as advisor

Chapter 4 - Cantivic

Number of runs required: 2

• Show your resilience with a spectacular feast. (With Andhrimnir still alive) - Choose Andhrimnir as advisor
  
• Do not lose a single citizen. (With Eir still alive) - Choose Eir as advisor

Chapter 5 - Aurelianis

Number of runs required: 2

• Aurelianis Build a Monastery on each island (With Eitria still alive) - Choose Eitria as advisor
  
• Never get below 0 Happiness. (With Andhrimnir still alive) - Choose Andhrimnir as advisor

Chapter 6 - Saint-Germain

Number of runs required: 2

• Eliminate an entire patrol. (With Signy still alive) - Choose Signy as advisor
  
• Rid the city of Egil's troops. (With Torfin still alive) - Choose Torfin as advisor

Chapter 7 - Jengland

Number of runs required: 2

• Raise an army of 10 units or more. (With Eir still alive) - Choose Eir as advisor
  
• Control every outpose in the region. (With Grif still alive) - Choose Grif as advisor

Chapter 8 - Ploidran

Number of runs required: 2

• Do not recruit a single miner (gnomes don't count). (With Eitria still alive) - Choose Eitria as advisor
  
• Do not let a single miner die. (With Eir still alive) - Choose Eir as advisor

Chapter 9 - Brissarthe

Number of runs required: 2

• Make Signy send wolves at 4 of Egi's troops. (With Signy still alive) - Choose Signy as advisor
  
• Collect at least 10 pouches during blizzards. (With Grif still alive) - Choose Grif as advisor

Chapter 10 - Nermoster

Number of runs required: 1

• Maintain every shore above 50% defense.
  
• Reach Surtr's camp before year 2.

In mission 10 "Reach Surtr's camp before year 2." does anyone know what that exacly mean? I reached his camp about middle april of year 2 so afaik been month too late as year apperently starts in march and it still counts (new year prompt appeared few moments after i begin pressing in through fenrir spawns.

For chapter 7, have a unit on every tile, Grif is still alive, but I'm not getting the bonus objective upon completion. Am I missing something?

Total time saver! Thans a lot for sharing the bonus objectives. It would be annoyingly boring to play these missions for the 3rd time just to achieve them otherwise.

I just managed to get the achievement, it indeed got patched. Basically, use Signy's new burning earth skill to push wolves towards your enemy, and it should unlock.

Chapter 9 is fixed
