Improvements
Using DX12 compared with the DX11 version of the game the game has better frames, between 10-15 more, and a more stable framerate.

Mouse input lag feels better.
Also, using Nvidia's Reflex setting on Boosted is stable now. I remember framerate going crazy back then.

Vram use increases, but in my opinion, now is using what always should be using according to the Video texture pool setting (Low, Medium, High, Very High, Insane).

Ofcourse, all this improvements depends of your PC. You may have better results in a modern hardware rig. Give it a try anyways.
Setting Up DX12 API
Go to Apex properties in your library. And add this command in your launch settings.

EDIT 5/7/24
-eac_launcher_settings SettingsDX12.json OLD!

For the new version of the game, in order to work it changes to:

-anticheat_settings=SettingsDX12.json

EA Game Update Changelog

Thanks @Vitryol

Skip Game Intro
If you want to skip the game's intro use this command too

-dev

Uncap Main Menu Fps
If you have the main menu locked to 60fps and you want to uncap it, use this command in the game's launch options

+fps_max 0

The End?

Outdated drivers or maybe he never did a clean install. There are some games that dx11 works better than dx12, there are a little few tho. Hopefully, this one works, for what i can tell, very fine

OP is correct though. There is performance improvements with DX12, infact, it's shown large impact on performance than it would with DX11. I dont understand how you could lose frametime using DX12 instead of DX11, unless there's some shady stuff going on with the shaders, which i doubt.

U cant see the difference between a troll post and a real one? hahah. This is not a trolling one, like i said, maybe works fine maybe not. Every user is a new case. Try to recompile game shaders again (reinstalling the game for example)

This must be a troll guide. I followed all the steps and I got inconsistent frametime and fps (tried reflex on and off). I instantly rolled back to directx11. RTX 2070 Super + Intel i7-9700k
