Out of all of the Factions I have recolored, Cathay's are the absolute worst. You can not change the green in jade warriors, you can not change the blue ropes and accents in female gun units, you can not change the orange sashes and back symbols of peasants, you can not change the colors of the lanterns on both sky and ones on artillery, you can not change the color of Terracotta Sentinels, you can not change the yellow of Celestial Guard, you can not change the color of longmas, and many many more. They only have so many units as well. Like less than 20

Do not forget to change the UI color to increase immersion.

Simply..you can do anything with mods. Things that can't be done. You can't change the green in jade warriors, that's why there's a mod for it.

It's the mask. I can not change the green on jade warriors when using faction_tables. You can however if you change the mask. If I could change the green originally, I would have no need to alter a mask (therefore you can't) but you can. This is the semantic, we are both right. If I could do it, I would have no need to make more changes or have another mod to do it. No heat, we're just people.

I fail to see what you mean, for me it's not green depending on what faction I use. Isn't that what you try to achieve? I am a bit lost.

But it's alright, no intention to getting stuff heated here. I have no interest for such.

Sorry if i'm brash and seemingly rude. When you say you can't do something and someone replies with actually you can... with a mod that allows you to do so, then it's just a debate on semantics. Under required items is Dead's Cathay Team Color Masks mod which allows you to indeed change those issues I have with Cathays faction.

You dont understand it right then because he changed the mask of the unit. He makes the green in jade warriors and masks them so they change depending on the factions colors. That's completely different. It's a mod that allows recolors to actually change the green in jade warriors.
