Description
Why does the Cop not have their gun? Why does the Burglar not have their tools? Why the hell does the Smoker not have their smokes? You mean to tell me that these people have lived their lives, developed these skills and hobbies, and have nothing at hand in the event of crisis to makes use of them?

Ask these questions NO MORE!

The initial code for this was ripped wholesale and thoroughly modified from Draco's Expanded Traits (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2730251452). I liked the whole spawning with gear based on who your character is and what they did before the apocalypse and though it should be it's own mod. If they want this taken down, all they have to do is ask.

Is this balanced? Probably not. Does it makes sense? At least a little bit.

This is created around Vanilla and has no direct integration with other mods that add items. It seems to work fine for the most part with mods that replace vanilla items so long as the same base id is used. Feel free to take this and make your own extensions or entirely new versions. I stole it and now so can you!

Notes from the creator:
This mod is primarily intended to give a quicker start to a playthrough, reducing some of the initial burden of core item collection by granting items that a character of that type would likely have had on hand given who they are.

I have not made any sort of integration with those mods, no. I don't have any immediate plans to create a compatability patch, but maybe some day when I feel like sitting down and working on this more.

Thanks! Just pushed a hotfix out to fix a stupid typo that gave a Hunter Police Officer a Red Dot for their M9 instead of a Laser.

While I didn't specifically design this around VFE, I did make sure that it works good with it. VFE actually replaces the vanilla firearms with versions that make more sense and utilize the same item names so no matter the version of VFE this mod should work.

Ah that's cool! Yours is one of the better ones I've seen, I really like the additions. Most mods I see only add like one item per profession, but you really go above and beyond

Yeah. I was looking it over some last night. Was gonna get around to doing a bit of additions where sensible. Was thinking of also giving the Fire Officer a gas mask since those spawn a good bit in the fire stations. That list in the description was the first time I actually documented who got what in word form and I did it at like 2 am. Appreciate the feedback!
