Description
This mod bases on the source code of Custom Item Stacks Legacy 2019
Also linking the newer but discontinued mod that talks to an API Custom Item Stacks

This mod does not talk to an API for it\'s configuration.
Includes Pure Sulfur, Orichalcum, Torpedos, Cursed Wood and Brimstone.

Note: We\'ve noticed that after installing this mod, on ships, we had to remove and re-add inventory from any container by hand, not with a transfer gun, to get it to reduce the ship weight. We think this is a one time thing, but not sure yet. We restarted the server and after a restart the ship weight was what we expected it to be.

TLDR: One server boot to do the initial conversion, players loading into the grid and a second server restart to get ship weights showing properly without intervention. (Time between restarts was about 30 minutes.) If that does not fix it, do the fix in the paragraph above.

Is this yet another Stacking Mod?!
This mod does, contrary to other stacking mods, not introduce child classes or even copies of the original classes, but uses the vanilla classes. What this means, you can simply continue to gather your normal ATLAS resources and stuff and even if you remove this mod, it won\'t delete everything! Note that you will, of course, lose the over the top stack amount, once the mod is removed again... you could secure resources in ShipResourceBoxes and ammo in the AmmoBox, but not on your ship, since it will sink due to overweight then.

You can modify everything to your needs with custom stack sizes, weight and spoil timers for particular items. Or if that\'s to much work for you, simply use for example the overall stack multiplier as documented in the server settings discussion. This gives you a powerful tool to even add other mod items and customize their stuff!

This mod comes with a lot of default settings to provide a plug and play experience, those default settings are:

- Gold Coins with 100k stack, so that a full stack weights 100
- Resources and intermediates with 5k stack and 10% weight

does anyone know how to make the resources stop reseting to 500 stack when logging on singleplayer? i looked at the pinned discussion but the link to the default options on google drive with what i think the solution would be isnt showing up when i click on it. anyone have it or another solution or do i have to write it down for every single resource the mod touch (which idk all of them) like the author did with gold coin on the example in the pinned discussion?! =/

You do know, that you need the different resources for the different tiers in reciepes?
If you have a mod that combines all resources to a single group, you arew unable to create different types of tiered weapons, accessories, ships and so on.
So for me, a mod like this is a very stupid idea in ATLAS. It will ruin the game experience completely.
The thought alone of such a mod in ATLAS is hillarious!

This is ATLAS and not ARK. In this game things are alot different to ARK.

Can anyone tell me if this mod makes it so the resources are one type instead of having a million different thatches and a million different woods etc. I'm trying to find a mod that just groups everything to one of each type like it is in ARK if there even is a mod for this game like that

I've been playing in singleplayer and it has worked for the most part for me, but occasionally I load in and some of the stacks are messed up and have to crash the game and reload the save to fix it (idk if there's something where the loading process doesn't always work right). Is there a way to add lines into the GUS.ini to make the change more cemented?

@Aradiel Just logging in and out again shouldn't make a difference, unless you are playing in single player, in which case I don't know if that mode is supported by this mod.

Just tried it again on land. This time i picked up a ton of fiber wood thatch and placed it back into a vanilla forge. i had 3-4 stacks of 5k of each of these, logged out, logged back in and now all of these stacks ere 500 instead of 5k. went afk for about an hour, no change

you can see the actual max stack size by hovering over the item, it shows "quantity/max stack size" in the tooltip
