Adjusting Thrid Person Camera (CHEAT ENGINE)
Oleh TACO
This guide is for tweaking the third person camera. I did not like the default 3rd person camera from the Cheat Engine. I wanted to see my character model up close. This guide will show you how to move around the camera to your taste!

First thing's First!
I am sorry for the poor spelling on my title. I can't believe i spelled "third" wrong! I am unable to correct my mistake in the editor. I also do not want to recreate this whole guide because of one huge spelling error.
Now that I cleared that up... Let's begin the Guide!
Getting Started
This is a guide that is assuming that you already have the "Cheat Engine" downloaded and already on your computer. I will not go in depth on how to go about on downloading the mod. I believe many "Youtube" videos can explain it better than I can.

Here is a video that helped me out a lot:
Important Sections
The first half of the video below (1:00 - 3:00) are instructions on how to install the Cheat Engine.
Skip to (4:03). It explains how to change the camera views by going inside the files in your computer.
  • Documents/My Games/Borderlands 2/WillowGame/Config.
  • [WillowGame.WillowPawn]
CameraScale: pushes the camera in or out
CameraScaleRight: shifts the camera right
CameraScaleUp: moves the camera up
Giving negative values transfers the camera to the negative side of the axis. Try thinking that the camera is like a dot (plot) on a Cartesian Graph.
If the graph has a plot like (3,3), the dot will be located in the top right grid.
If the graph has a plot of (-3,-3), the dot wil be located in the bottom left grid.

CameraScale: i do not recommend making this negative.
CameraScaleRight: giving a negative value scales it to the left of your character
CameraScaleUp: scaling this value negative moves the camera further downward

Here are examples of what my notepad looks like:
(first find the [WillowGame.WillowPawn] section)

(then start adjusting the camera scales)
Ta Da! Try Experimenting On Different Camera Angles!
CONGRATS! Now you too can enjoy different Third-Person view points!

You can have it up close!

Scoot it back a bit!

Or keep it at that sweet spot!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my guide! I hope you found this useful!

Could you tell me how to map the third person to a gamepad button? I replace g in the script with what?

I've played this game with camera mod, and not had any problems except firing backwards glitch.
Don't freaking spread false info.
Especially since this game doesn't even use vac.

VAC detect and ban users who have this soft in PC.

I always wanted to see Zer0 in 3rd person when slicing enemies. And with this guide you can switch angles from time to time. +1
Things that I dislike is that it has to go with CE and firing glitch on some places.
I have nothing against CE, but if you never really use it (like me), it will serve for 1 mod only, which is kinda stupid :)

JokerSevenX We know that, just use Custom install so you dont install the "MakeMyPCFaster" and that crap then it's chill to use, I noticed about the aiming, that v4.0 with the Freecam option is odd, if i use the older v3.2 it works how it is meant to be, Ok thanks man, till think of that if there is anything odd happening :OrangeSurprise:

If people have the problem with shooting backwards, try turning off physx. Some people found that as a quick fix. It might work. There is probably something else that makes the weapons act "goofy," but this is all i can think of right now.

Ok thanks for answer, Have some slight problem with weapons not hitting where i aim in Zoomed Scope, only when i crunch it will hit where the aim is, distance dont matter, even very upclose if i dont crouch, that is a tad anoying
