Gun Spears

This mod adds four melee/ranged hybrid weapons to rimworld. They are very dangerous in melee combat but due to their tubular shape and the lack of a Buttstock they have quite limited range and accuracy, they can however still be a major threat at close to medium ranges.

Weapon Overview

Gunspear:
- A hybrid between a spear and a submachine gun.

- 8 damage per round
- 12% armor penetration
- 18 squares range
- 3 round burst
- 1s aimtime
- 8.99 melee damage per second
- 36% melee armor penetration

Shotgunspear:
- A hybrid between a spear and a chain Shotgun.

- 15 damage per round
- 14% armor penetration
- 11 squares range
- 3 round burst
- 1.9s aimtime
- 9.08 melee damage per second
- 36% melee armor penetration

Flamespear:
- A spear that shoots a burst of small incendiary explosives kinda like the incendiary launcher (except it doesn't suck).

- 16 squares range
- 6 round burst
- 4.5s aimtime
- very small explosive radius
- 9.08 melee damage per second
- 36% melee armor penetration

Charge-gunspear:
- A hybrid between a spear and a charge rifle, with hypersonic vibration technology. For both his and her pleasure (provided they have the masochist trait).

- 12 damage per round
- 30% armor penetration
- 19 squares range
- 3 round burst
- 1.75s aimtime
- 10.53 melee damage per second
- 51% melee armor penetration

RunAndGun by roolo is not a requirement but is very much recommended.

These weapons are seen as ranged weapons by the game, so if you use the 'search and destroy' mod don't expect your pawns loyal soldiers to engage the enemy in melee by their own volition.
