You're not mistaken. After two and a half years of collection and waiting, 金蛇Goldensnake has returned with a more comprehensive PLA vs. U.S. Forces game configuration!
This time, he will still use three languages of the introduction: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English.

Game Configuration Features:
I. Global
1. It is well known that the U.S. Forces tend to use an interventionism military strategy, while the PLA tend to use a defensive military strategy. In Ravenfield, Eagle is usually the attacking side, while Raven is usually the defending side. In addition, the colors of these two factions correspond to the colors of the Chinese and U.S. flags, respectively. Therefore, this configuration treats Eagle as the U.S. Forces and Raven as the PLA, and replaces the default flags with the national flags of both sides;
2. 150 fictional names have been created for the U.S. Forces and 150 for the PLA. These names are commonly seen in daily life (including the names of several ethnic minorities in Chinese Mainland and the U.S.). When players open the scoreboard or use the name tag mutator, these names will make players more immersed;
3. Commanders and soldiers will make announcements or communicate with each other based on the operational situation, and both sides will use their respective national languages for radio voice communication;
4. In order to enhance the realism of the game to a certain extent, this game configuration adjusts the color of the parachute to a lower saturation green, removes unrealistic projectile decals and old looking night vision screen vignettes, replaces the skin of plane and helicopter pilots with exclusive appearance for both countries;
5. Adopting a more realistic gore effect, soldiers can not only shed seemingly real blood, but may even be shattered by heavy firepower;
6. More squad commands have been added, these commands are primarily used for vehicle-related controls, but they can also play important roles even without vehicles. Please find 'Extended Squad Order' in the 'Mutators' menu to learn how to use them.

II. Balance
1. The types and numbers of weapons and vehicles for both countries are the same, with their own strengths and weaknesses in terms of performance. However, looking at the overall situation, the conclusion drawn from a large number of battle statistics under the condition of all weapons and vehicles appearing equally is that the win-loss ratio between the two sides is close to 1:1. In other words, this game configuration is very balanced;
2. The flying height of planes has been increased, reducing the probability of being targeted by ground fire due to low-altitude flying.

III. Player Immersion
1. Hidden some HUDs, only displaying health, direction indicator, squad status, and approximate ammunition status. The degree of damage to health will be hinted at by the range of the blood-red effect on the screen edge. The lower the health condition, the darker the effect color and the larger the range. When the character is killed, the killer information will no longer be displayed;
2. Projectiles passing and hitting provide more realistic sound effects, and can suppress the character, causing visual blur and interfering with aiming;
3. The medical syringe is the only healing equipment and cannot quickly restore the character's health. Each syringe will gradually restore 100% of the character's health limit within 15 seconds after use. The healing effect cannot exceed the character's health limit;
4. The bleeding effect from the previous version has been cancelled, and incapacitation is now equivalent to being killed. When the character loses balance or is killed, the first-person view will still be displayed. After the character is killed, the screen will gradually turn dark, but can still be resurrected;
5. The stamina effect from the previous version is still used, and the character's stamina can sustain running for 20 seconds or jumping up to 20 times, but it takes 15 seconds to recover;
6. Unlike the official setting, the character is able to engage in melee while running. Additionally, the visual effects of melee attacks have been improved.
