Half-Life 2 Large White & Red Trawler

Description
This vessel is a medium-to-large fishing ship (trawling) from Half-Life 2 usually found on the map d2_coast_04. You can see a screenshot of the version from that game above. Following that screenshot is screenshots of the vessel you will get when you subscribe to this workshop item.

Took me long enough, I know. I took some creative liberties to make the ship functional, but the ship has a complete interior, I had plenty of trouble getting it to work, but finally did in the end. It's a lot bigger than the one in Half-Life 2, but if was any smaller I'm not sure how it would have turned out. This one is a beast and can take quite a performance hit on low-end systems. Next up is the Borealis, it will take a while, especially since the Borealis will be like 10 times bigger than this thing and on top of that I am moving in about four days. But once I get a chance I will be working on it again.

By the way I wanted this to be compatible with JSI, but I am unsure of how I would go about making it easy to attach the nets to the ginormous winch. And yes the huge winch on the back does work, it's not just for looks. You can try using the ship with JSI, but you may have to get creative with setting up the nets. I put winches on the side, maybe it will help drag the long or large nets across the deck.

NEWS:

Hey everyone!
I know it’s been a while since I last posted—especially about the Borealis Project—and I want to thank you all for your patience. The long silence wasn’t for nothing, though, because I’ve got some great news: the stern buoyancy issue has finally been fixed! 🙌

That means construction on the Borealis can officially resume! I've also been working on a modular diesel engine setup that can be run in parallel with others, aiming for high torque and efficiency. If you're curious about the techy details (or just want to see how the ship's coming along), check out the latest blog post here:

Stay tuned—there’s more to come!
