Context

The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is an American supersonic air superiority fighter developed during the early 1950's. Despite this, the aircraft boasts speeds of over 2400 km/h and a climb rate competitive with many fighters developed over thirty years later; this came at the cost of the aircraft's range and manoeuvrability however, which in addition to the difficulty landing led to it having a short service life with the USAF. The aircraft proved a success in the foreign market, with the modernised G variant seeing service in various Asian and European nations. With the exception of Italy most of these countries retired the aircraft during the 1970's as more contemporary fighters such as the F-16 became available.
The version depicted in game is the dutch F-104 G; although its not a perfect recreation with liberties being taken for better usability or aesthetics. Game limitations such as the size of the rotary autocannon led to it being replaced with a light autocannon.

Due to stormworks jank multiple vehicles or ai can cause issues with the roll of the plane, if this is an issue for you the best way to minimise this is to jettison the drop tanks or increase the physics detail; if this still doesn't work deleting the wing pivots and merging the wings to the plane should work.
