Type 90 MBT "Kyū-maru" GATE

The Type 90 is the Third indiginous post-war main battle tank produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Development started in 1976 but changes in requirements caused delays over delays. The Type 90 finally entered service in 1990, as the most expensive tank produced in Japanese history at around 1 Billion JPY per unit (7.4 Million USD). By the 2000s, the Type 90 was showing it's age with the end of production in 2008 in favour of the much lighter, much cheaper, more advance and arguably much better Type 10.

Unlike the Type 74 that I posted before, this tank is probaly the most acurrate vehicle that I've posted thus far, may even more than the StuG.

I know that this vehicle isn't in Gate: Jieitai Kano Chi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri (Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought There) but the show in set in 2015 so it's not to out of place to think that maybe the JSDF would send more advance equipment throught the gate before it close.

Action 2 - Fire 120mm HEAT
