Konza Prarie - Long range tank combat and dogfights (EA 26 ONLY!)

A 6x6 km map set in Konza Prairie of the Flint Hills of Kansas. A big part of my childhood was hiking its trail, and I thought it would make for an excellent tank combat map so here we are.

Before you load up into a map YOU HAVE TO SET YOUR TERRAIN SETTINGS TO MEDIUM! When the terrain is set to high the map won't load in the satellite data for its colors. Another issue with it is that vanilla weapons will have a second copy of them appear. This is because the projector giving the terrain the satellite imagery will also display it on the invisible third-person model of you.

I highly recommend getting the Vehicle Burn Killer mutator so that bots won't eject from their vehicles and get stuck in the middle of nowhere. I'd also recommend configuring the flags a bit before the game to get them to how you'd like it (they currently are set up in just a basic generic way).

This map fits well for a lot of settings. Personally I've enjoyed it best on a WW2 setting.

Mods used in the photos were 2005's M1 Abrams, M2 Bradley, T-90, BTR-2, and Eagle Pancake's Battlefield 2042 HUD.
