MI 2N (Matériel Interconnexion à 2 Niveaux) refers to rolling stock on the Île-de-France regional express network with two levels shared by the RATP (for the RER A) and the SNCF (for the RER E) that are relatively similar but have different designations. They are at the origin of Alstom's X'Trapolis family of trains.
RATP and SNCF equipment is not authorised in mixed multiple units (UM2) in normal operation.
