Totaler Krieg 1939-45

Description
Port of the original TK 39-45 mod from Battle of Empires: 1914-18.

Note:
Not all content of the original mod has been ported yet, only a small part of it. More to come, but it's heavily dependant on my willingness and available time.
P.S.: This mod only adds content, not implements it. You have to create your own mod or use the editor to access it.

The content includes:
- 294 new humanskins, as well as additional texmods for some of them;
- 63 new body wearable items;
- 251 new headgear.

Credits:
Herr Sturmfuhrer for the original mod.

You are free to work upon this mod, as long as you attribute the original author - Herr Sturmfuhrer*.

* The name might not match the author's current nickname, as I took this information from the old ModDB page for Totaler Krieg mod.

I got it working how I wanted it now, thanks for your help.

Just put the texmod in the same folder as the original texture you're editing - it'll work just fine

Thanks for the response, I tried as you suggested and couldn't get it working, I'm not experienced in .mtl editing.

Is there a way to make a texmod out of the uniforms? I know how to do it for head gear but trying on the uniforms doesn't work for me in this mod.

By the way, this is also how vanilla handles uniforms and headgear.

The uniforms don't work any different from headgear, except for the fact they share a ton of textures - which have been put into a common texture folder. You just need to adjust the .mtl file to point to the texture you create.

Hi, thanks for putting in the work to port this mod over for us to enjoy.

I'm trying to recolour some uniforms but I can't get them to work in game, seems they are set up differently then any other mod that I have used, since all uniform textures are in a .pak file. The head gear I can work with because they have the dds textures inside of there correct folder, but the uniforms don't have any dds textures since they are in the .pak file.

Any help would be much appreciated.

As I have said, it's a model issue, which means only the original model's creator is able to fix it (at least, that's my understanding of the issue; of course if someone was to reverse-engineer the models and re-rig them in 3dsmax back into the game, it would be 100% doable)

Makes me sad, there is to mutch cool stuff not to fix :/
Maybe talk whit other modders if it is possible to fix?

It's very unlikely because these are model issues, and because I have other projects to work on and also don't know how to fix it, don't expect a fix anytime in the future

Is it possible to fix the Bug wehre bagpacks arent on the right spot? They wear them like a rifle on one shoulder. I want to use the nice stuff on my models like bandolers or Backpacks but at the moment it just looks wierd :D
