Description
Clean Default Survivor HUD

When I say Clean, I remove all blood splatters, connected the unconnected lines on the default HUD, this includes the incapacitated HUD.

It is compatible with Team Health Counter and Custom Health Bars.

I am still messing around with the modding tools and learning about it, there might be some bugs on it.

Recommended to use with Clean Default Survivor Health Bars , though optional.

Thanks to MrFunreal for teaching me about alpha channel, so I don't miss any leftover blood splatters.

Keep it mind that it might not work with some custom survivor replacement, since some of them replaces the Incapacitation HUD, and the survivor incapacitation icon and the HUD itself is stick to one image. One solution is that you can subscribe to your custom model first and then this, that way your model incapacitation panel will take priority, although the panel won't be cleaned.

Assuming you already know about basic vpk unpacking, vtf exporting/importing, and basic l4d2 modding tools, the file name for the hud itself is healthbar_bg_1.vtf, healthbar_bg_2.vtf, healthbar_bg_3.vtf, healthbar_bg_4.vtf, and healthbar_bg_player.vtf inside the game files. 1, 2, 3, and player are for the hud, and 4 is for the health bar background. there are 8 additional files for incap hud if you want to edit them is well. this might sound confusing if you don't have any experience.

You can follow this guide if you want.

Let me know if anything sounds confusing.

That makes sense. Any idea on the file name for starters? In that centered hud I mentioned to edit to my own preference. That and some splatters on team panels look low-res/blurry for 1080p. For now I'll stay subbed to this, also using your other cleaned addons.

I see, the splatter and the hud itself is actually 1 file, so there's no way I can seperate them, the only way is to edit the file to your preference.

I think he wants you to combine them (or make them compatible to use) with this mod. I have no idea, I just stumbled onto this and it looks nice without the blood splatter around the panels. Which, I'm using this with Centered/Reduced Hud by Qude.

What do you want exactly from the mentioned addon, alongside with this addon? The transparency?

Could you make this compatible with other huds?

The default incapped image was using the e3 version of the survivors; use this instead.
