Description
“Blood in the Water! Salt in the Wound!”

Overview
------------------------------------------

A seasoned whaler and a survivor of a ship sinking, the Krakenslayer is a dedicated tank and boss killer, proving once and for all that monstrous size has no intrinsic merit, unless inordinate exsanguination be considered a virtue.

The Krakenslayer is a dancing damage dealer, focusing on bleed and massive single target damage against bosses and large enemy. She excels at long fights, allowing her various long bleeds to acculmimnate damage as well as setting up the various conditions for The Kill, capable of deleting half a large enemy hp in a single turn when all condition are set up, while their often multiple actions a turn just means they bleed out faster. In trade off, she lacks explosive first turn power due to prefering longer fight, and her skills are geared toward fighting a single opponent at a time, lacking aoe options

Combat Skills

Blood in the Water
XXOO – OOOX

Basic attack, forward 1, apply a weak but long bleed and debuff bleed duration received.

Bloodhunter
OOOX – O+O+O+O

Mark all currently bleeding enemy. Mark last as long as the enemy is bleeding.

Ebb and Flow
OOOO

Self heal and aegis that allows for a free move afterward to reposition

Reel 'em In
XOOO – OOOO

Back 2 that also pulls and debuff enemy SPD and DODGE

Salt in the Wound
XOOX - XOOO

Ranged Damage, consume mark to strip all bleed and blight resist from enemy

Skewer
OOXX – OOOO

A single use per battle, apply an Actordot on the enemy that bleeds them after every action, effectively a battle long, uncurable bleed.

The Kill
OXXX – OXXX

Forward 3 AP Damage nuke that gains DMG vs Bleeding, DMG vs Marked, and CRT vs size >2

The main thing making it difficult to use as I recall it was that many characters that compliment this one (bleed, mark) are fairly rank reliant and don't like being moved around by other characters.

I have strugled with this character so hard, wanting to use her and finding her so damn counter intuitive, little did i know the way to use her was: Just get kraken idol, now you have meley attack from 3+4 hitin anybody without limited use. get ebb and flow to heal up and block and move when out of position and complement rest of your kit with whatever you like! honestly tho it would be so nice for her kit to complement itself a bit with the movement, it can be so painfull to play her otherwise

After testing for a while I can say that the sunken chest trinket disables her other abilities after using one, the only ability available after that is the kill.

I made Brigand Pounder and Garden Guardian bleed. Thank you, Sasiji.

Overall, very strong character and her trinkets are good(except Very Rare, it sucks).

Check my comment on page 4, already done 4 full runs including the Queen CoM and +10 enemy packs and bosses and some difficulty mods to make it even harder

Krakenslayer really well balanced maybe a bit too strong with the right party but that applies for a lot of classes, you just need party bleed to open the fight either Houndmaster or Commandant with bleed chance to secure it

Permanent -200% bleed and blight resist to enemy and the only cost is using a mark? And 100% block upkeep with heal? Damn son

I like her a lot, but have trouble using her skill combos because:
1. Her main skill pushes her forward, but salt and bloodhunter can only be used from positions 2 and back.
2. If I reel in a target, I still don't get all the way back to position 4 where I should be to use THE KILL.

Am I doing it wrong? Maybe she needs other markers, dancers and bleeders on the team to work correctly? My suggestions:
1. Make salt and bloodhunter usable from position 1 or;
2. Make the kill usable from position 3 or;
3. Make reel 'em in move her back all the way to position 4.
I think that way her combos would be usable more consistently. Bleed, mark, pull and finish (4 rounds) instead of bleed, pull, mark, pull again, finish (5 rounds or more).

''Reel 'em In'' shouldn't have a CRIT modifier.

It weakens the Pull ability to 1 thanks to the crit effect.
