Intro
The year is 1982. Nuclear explosions bombard the surface of the Earth. World war III lasted less than 9 hours. The year is now 2019 and society slowly rebuilds. Among the prewar rubble lies a decrepit motorcycle. It gets repaired and fitted with the latest tech, now it holds the name Akira and drives across the illuminated cities at night.

This is a motorcycle inspired by the main bike in the popular manga series Akira. The bike in the manga holds many names, including Akira bike and Kaneda's bike. This bike was also made for CaptainCockerels's Bravo challenge where we have to build a personal “ground” transport.

(Note that this is an inspiration, not a recreation)

Starting the Engine:
  1. Turn engine power on by pressing hotkey 1
  2. The engine is now on, start driving for god sake

Driving:
  • Use W/S keys to accelerate and apply gentle brakes
  • Steer the vehicle using A/D keys, which become slower as speed increases
  • Press Space key for hard brake
  • Reverse the vehicle pressing hotkey 2
  • The parking brake is off when you start and can be activated pressing hotkey 4

Other:
  • Turn on the headlights pressing hotkey 3
  • There is a fuel hose anchor on the left side to refuel the vehicle.

my friend said the stability on the bike is not good, but when i tested it its a piece of cake. most best motor bike :steamthumbsup:

CTH2004 I just found some pictures of the bike on the internet, mainly taking inspiration from the anime. I actually have little knowledge on lore, but have a friend that reads the manga. The main build itself is offcourse an inspiration and not trying to be a recreation
