Do you suck at war thunder? Does your brain struggle with comprehending the game? Do you want to smash your laptop after playing 17 games in a row and not winning a single one?

Don't worry, so do I.
But after playing this game since 2019 I think I am qualified enough to teach something so you can suck less while praying to our evil overseer Gaijin the snail (Jk we love you and the effort you put in the game) (Sometimes you can be cringe tho) (Pls don't ban me)
Alright let’s start:

The Map:
Hey you see that colorful thing on the bottom of the screen
That's the map you dimwit, USE IT.
You see while you were busy doing the hard labor of pressing W and rushing the capture point and sounding like “Wowowowowowow me so goodie in dis game :D” on Normandy you may have passed by one pesky sniper that you spotted but you were like “Uh not my problem let the poor tanks passing by deal with it” MARK HIM PLEASE BRO the poor bastard behind you did nothing wrong to get killed within the first 45 seconds of the game and then when it the same sniper bites you in the butt you decide to go to the forums and leak classified information on why said tank should have 0.00013 longer reload time.

Or like a map like Fulda
German bros my brothers from another mother that play heavy tanks
We’re on the same team lads. If you get killed by an M18 or some random stinking fast boi at least give us the estimated location BEFORE RAGE QUITTING
And if you spot them before they kill you, then even better kill them. or if you can’t, simply tell us where they went so we can get rid of them.

The moral of the story is communication can be very useful and if your team is not doing it at least you do it so that you have done your part

Now my 2nd general tip is

Buttons C, B, and sometimes V:

Alright, so the last 2 are pretty obvious
the B button is on default for binoculars and they’re pretty awesome if you care about seeing the enemy, especially at high and ultra-graphics they also give you an advantage on slopes because you can see your enemy from a pretty ok height without showing your turret to switch into gunner optics and on tanks like the Leopard 1 when the zoom is too strong and annoying the B button will be your best friend

And the button V is useful only if you have a tank that can scout and it’ll be a good tool for you to show the exact location of the enemy tank rather than pinging it on the map it’s also useful when you have a task that requires you to use it and a friendly teammate to kill the spotted enemy

But the button C is very underrated because most new players don’t use it
It's not limited to just looking around freely while not moving your turret you can also use it to peak around corners before rushing like a moron and dying to that one guy who holds the entire street hostage as a swarm of allied tanks like you rush in and get clapped before once AGAIN going to the forums or the in chat and spamming stuff about how the game is not realistic and how your favorite tank should be lowered by 2 BRs

Rage quitting:
Ok listen, I’ve been there and done that and sometimes even these days I can't handle a couple bad games
But let’s try to like keep it to the minimum, alright?
Since you’re ruining the game for everyone and yourself
Just try your best and don’t quit immediately after your first death

Tech tree rushing and premium rushing:
This applies to all branches of Air, Ground, and Naval like the top guide but I feel like just leaving it here

Dear level 23 player that bought your T72 Turms I don’t want to discourage you or judge you but like
Is it even any fun?
You only have one tank in your line up and you leave immediately since idk I guess you ran out of money and didn’t have something in the air to at least back it up?
The thrill of the game is those BR unlocks and getting your shiny new vehicle and getting absolutely rekt in it
And on the subject of new stuff to unlock honestly, don’t jump 2 BRs because of that one WW2 documentary that you watched (Totally not me)
Just do it at a normal pace make your current BRs line up ok and then unlock the tank you always wanted
Again, this is for new players that are getting familiar with the game you do you veteran who wasted thousands of hours :D

Moving into new BRs:

Get to know your tank check the shell penetration know a basic amount of detail on the differences between shells like HE, HEAT, APCBC, and so on…………
Check the strengths of your tank and weaknesses
Do the same for the tanks you will face at your BR so that you know how to penetrate them or rush them if they have a long reload (It may seem like too much information but after a while of playing you will remember them)
Learn how to angle your armor (trust me, it can save your life many times)
You will learn the distance of enemy tanks far away after playing for some time on instinct however if you struggle use the range finder (Warning the range finders aside from laser ones which are commonly found on modern tanks and post-war tanks are not accurate nor fast but it can come to good use)

Be nice:
We’re all in the deepest pit of hell together, so let’s not make it even worse.

Have a nice day and thank you for reading whatever this was.
