What is Warmod? -----------------------------------------------------------------

Warmod is a teamplay overhaul for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. It changes the way the game is played to make it more fun, co-operative and balanced.

New in v0.7-----------------------------------------------------------------

- Entirely new parry mechanics. Players now use their weapon model to parry incoming attacks

- 5 directional parry animations for each weapon. Looking to the top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right and straight ahead while parrying will activate unique animations.

What else does Warmod do? -----------------------------------------------------------------

- War Banners – Two new weapons for the vanguard class that provide offensive and defensive buffs to nearby teammates.

- Half-Swording - A new option for two handed swords, allowing them to be half-sworded for maximum piercing damage at the cost of reach.

- Rebalanced Damage – Classes have more specific damage strengths and weaknesses. Use blunt weapons to kill knights, piercing attacks to kill vanguards, and slashes on MAA and archers.

- Rebalanced Stamina – Stamina regenerates much faster, but can be drained in bigger chunks when parrying heavy weapons.

- Archer overhaul - projectiles now do increased damage at close ranged, and reduced damage at long range.

- New damage mechanics - different damage types now do increased damage against certain areas. Blunt attacks are extra effective when delivering blows to the head, as well as elbows and knees. Piercing attacks do increased damage to the torso and head, but reduced damage to the limbs.

- New UI Features - An interactive welcome menu for players new to Warmod.

- Full weapon clashing – Hitting your opponent’s weapon during an attack will cause both your attacks to be deflected.

- Shield hits fix – Fixed the vanilla issue where your idle shield could be hit by enemies for full damage. Hits to shields or weapons now do no damage and flinch the hit player.

You can run the mod by adding modname=War to the end of the map change command in the console e.g. open aocto-darkforest_?modname=War

Dueling with this mod enabled was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

It appears as Slumpmod, I tried it at FFAsolo game and i dont have any shields or different terciary weapon. Also parry directin doesnt work

@Genki Hey - by coincidence I tried loading up the mod a few days ago just out of curiosity. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on the current build of Chivalry anymore. Sorry about that :(

@Omar, you are welcome and thanks for the mod! Doesn't look like there is a lot of modders with free time on their hands who find Mordhau not quite satisfying enough as it is. I guess that only leaves me as the potential candidate... My modding experience, however, is pretty much nil. So, it would be better if someone else tried to do that instead. But if all else fails, I might give it a try.

Thanks for the comments @Surveyor If someone is keen to make a Warmod for Mordhau, I'd be happy to lend a hand (though I wouldn't lead the charge). I can offer some pointers on how to use the engine too.
