About the hero
This is a very important part of any guide. Azraf is a hero with fast damage, at 30+ minutes, if you hit the enemy 6 times, he will be kicked by 1 million of your illusions. The illusion causes a good damage, and can also create another illusion, with a chance of 8% (read more about the subtleties of playing on it in the following chapters)
Below I will talk about the importance of items when buying.
Power Treads








First of all, after buying a tango and an axe, as well as sweaty finishing off creeps, we buy pt. I advise you to take regular shoes first, and then buy more. (if there are problems with finishing off the enemy). Lancer does not need additional armor or damage, it is taken out due to illusions and attributes. So pt is the best choice in the first slot. If there are problems with money at the initial stage, then you can buy wands, they can be used to restore mana and strangle enemies with a spear and a doppel, then, of course, you can finish pt.
Diffusal blade







IT'S JUST AN INCREDIBLY USEFUL ITEM. After buying the pt, we save up for it. First of all, buying a knife for + 10 dexterity, of course. Now I will explain how this subject is useful.








As we already know, the more Azraf fights, the more he creates illusions. Thanks to the diffusal blade, it burns mana just to zero! If you're fighting a conditional tinker or a techies, they won't do anything without mana. Be sure to buy it.

If you are pinned down on the line and you cannot collect the difusal blade, then go to the forest and farm yasha there, after which you can cook manta style from it.
Aghanim's shard









Another incredibly useful improvement. Before buying it, try not to get into fights, against 3+ heroes, since Azraf is not immortal.








With the help of a shard, you will be able to apply a good damag with the first skill, as well as create an illusion next to two enemies. (without a shard, only one enemy gets a damag, and one illusion is created)
Items, that affect the gameplay
A BRIEF EXPLANATION - If you are doing well with farming and opponents get you in the face, then I advise you to buy manta, it allows you to be more aggressive in fighting, cause more damage, and also arrange huge messes. And also manta makes you invulnerable, during application (0.1 s). Thanks to this, you can counter strong spells by the enemy, and also use illusions very well.

Thanks to stun, Azraf can create a lot of illusions while hitting an opponent. So there is already a choice.
Health
Azraf is a hero with a very small amount of health, all your gameplay for him is based on illusions and the time of attacking enemies.

Explanation - Lancer has categorically little health at the initial stage, and by the end, compared to others, this is a very small number. That is, if you get caught, then GG, drink tea in a tavern. Because of this, you have no right to make a mistake. (The health table was written during patch 7.32d and may be in future patches, it will be slightly changed, but in any case, Azraf will not be a fat tank). And now I'll show you how to fix it.
Heart of tarrasque








Heart of tarrasque is just a great thing for Azraf! Thanks to strength, extra health and extra regeneration, Azraf becomes very fat. Although it has a rather large price, it is a really useful item. When I first started playing the Lancer, I was always shouted in the voice "buy tarrasque already!" I doubted it, but after the purchase, the sites came out in our direction. Definitely a necessary item.
Moon shard















It is best not to use it on yourself, unless you need some kind of aitems on the counter. Moonshard is useful because it increases the attack speed by huge numbers. Thanks to him, Azraf can create a bunch of illusions in 3 seconds, and then, of course, kill the enemy. As for me, there is no sense in the viewing radius, but the attack speed is very useful.
Butterfly









This item is not that useful, it just adds attributes and gives you more damage. You can buy it instead of diffusal blade, since you will already kill the enemy faster than it will suck out all the mana. Buy if you think it's necessary.
Eye of skadi
















A very useful item. It allows you not to die in battles against conditional Ursa, Huskar, and so on. Also gives additional attributes and mana with hp. I advise you to buy against heroes who can escape, or against heroes with strong vampirism.
Bloodthorn


























An item against a silencer, a phantom assasin and other heroes. Explanation - it prohibits the use of abilities, AS WELL AS to miss the heroes (just against the phantom assasin). Also, all attacks cause crit and magic damage is inflicted at the end of the effect.
Aghanim's scepter




















Usually, this item is bought most recently. That is, if you do not have enough damage, just use ultimate - and the enemy is devoured alive by hundreds of your illusions.

Leveling and skills
Finally, the most difficult part of the manual is completed, now I will tell you about pumping and using skills.

1 SKILL (Spirit Lance) - Spear. A very important skill. With it, you create initial illusions and initiate a battle. For killing creeps, this skill is the only one that is important. After buying a shard, just throw a spear into a pack of creeps, and beat the next pack yourself. It is better not to max it.
2 SKILL (Doppelganger) - At the initial stage, you can use it to dodge different skills, as well as get closer to your opponent. Now I advise you to read what is written below. It is very important. Many people use this skill to distract the enemy, I have never done this and I do not advise you. But for proper use, you can try. Also, this skill prolongs the life of ALL illusions, so take note.



This is important! In the next screenshot, I will show what each of the illusions made by doppel does (they differ in appearance as well)



I will explain briefly.

The illusion on the left is not so bright, it just takes 500% damage from enemy heroes, and it deals 80% damage to Azraf.
The illusion on the right is very bright. She takes normal damage from enemies, but she can't do damage herself.


3 SKILL (Phantom rush) is a very important passive. You can block it. Without blocking - Azraf, after recharging the passive, runs to the one he was directed at. For a few seconds, the Lancer is given additional dexterity. Usually this skill is useful to break into battle, or catch up with the enemy. I advise you to max it at the stage of the liner.

ULTIMATE / PASSIVE (Juxtapose) - Without aghanim - passive. That's what Azraf was created for. It is with the help of this passivity that the Lancer creates illusions during the attack. When you get level 6, of course, download immediately. If there are problems on the line, you can immediately go to the forest after getting level 6.
If you buy aghanim, then one aspect needs to be taken into account here: when using an aghanim ultimate, Azraf destroys ALL illusions. So if you are already crushing the enemy with the number of illusions, you can not use ulta. Aganimal illusions live for a long time, so it is best to act in this order:
Ultimate - Rush - Doppelganger (increase the lifetime of illusions)

Enemies

EARTHSHAKER - Of course, you can try to dodge with a doppel, but if your opponent on the Shaker is not backward, then he will just let himself be beaten, and then he will get tired. Because of the echo, the Lancer, along with all the illusions, will crumble)

OMNIKHIGHT - Protection from physical damage by ulta.

KUNKKA - Cutting damage, due to passivity. Azraf will have all the copies die from one kick of the Kunkka.

SVEN is also a cutting damage, but you can still pick (in his case, it's not so scary)

TROLL WARLORD - On the one hand, this is not a character that can only counter Azraf. This is just an unbalanced Persian, who, due to the chance of binding, destroys most of the heroes.

RAZOR - Destroys illusions with the first skill, sticks to you with the second, finishes with the ulta. It seems to me that he was specially created as a potential enemy of Azraf.

EMBER SPIRIT is His second skill, works on all heroes in the area of action. That is, if a Lancer spawns a bunch of illusions, and his enemy is a mid-Ember, then he will easily have enough damage to get rid of all the illusions of the pla, and then, after binding, finish it off. Ulta Spirita also damazhit pla very well. So you definitely shouldn't pick against him.

WITCH DOCTOR - Will destroy you by pressing paralysis and ulta.



At this point, the enemies of the pla do not come to an end. Be afraid of team beating. Silence and the camp in particular. If Azraf is caught at least once, he will be destroyed. As I said earlier, the Lancer is not a tank. You can easily catch and kill him by finding the original.
Moments of the game
In this chapter, I will tell you about the time at the farm, and you should also pick up in support of Azraf - Never pick up Azraf in the 3 pos. Of course, you will be able to kill enemies, but due to the fact that your forest will be in the other side, in the enemy forest you will be able to catch and kill. So the Lancer is only peeking at the light line. From the supports, Leon, Shaman or Grimstroke will do.
Next, we will talk about how to farm on Azraf. When you get pt, and start farming creeps for diffusal blade, standing on the line, that's when the Lancer usually gets level 6. After getting the sixth level, go to your forest and beat the creeps. So that Azraf does not lose health - beat the enemy until you have 1-2 illusions. After that, move away a little, the creeps will react to your illusions, and Azraf does not receive damage. As soon as you feed the diffusal blade, you buy a shard. After that point, you have to start fighting. Shard allows you to farm while you are busy with something else, or in a hurry to help the team. You throw a shard into a bunch of creeps - 2 illusions appear that will definitely feed the camp.
