Enhanced Realistic Airports

Description
This mod modifies the Airport building to more closely resemble their real-life effects on a society capable of moving people around the globe in less than a day, as well as make them far more useful in the game by giving them stronger bonuses, encouraging a bigger incentive to build them for a use apart from just the military uses such as airpower and quicker deployment of troops.

MODDER'S THOUGHTS
So well, I actually conceived and completed this mod back in like, mid-2022, several months before the leaks of the Leader Pass were even out. The reason why it took so long to release was that, it isn't that high of a priority to release compared to some other mods I am currently attending to, that and basically I "slow-playtested" the mod, as in, I tested it along with other more important mods (but never testing it mainly) until the day came that I was assured all the errors were gone... and that took several tests (and one casual game tbh) because again, this mod isn't that high of a priority to work on for me. That being said, it would've been out months earlier if I had decided to prioritize it, it isn't really difficult nor tedious to code in all honesty...

Now why did I conceive this mod? It was also around in mid-2022, I was with my family and we were taking an airplane to the place where we would go to a beach resort for at least a week... being the crazy modder with a passion for this game I was, during the airport processing thingy, I was thinking something by the likes of "So many people from different places pass through here... hold on, why doesn't Civ 6 take this into account?". And then I thought about the rammifications of a world where you could literally travel to the other side of the planet from where you are in 12 hours more or less, and mentally compared it to the ancient world where you had to travel by foot/ship... (Of course, that's excluding the visa-obtaining process and all). Then, there's also the fact that airports in Civ 6 have a lower-than-usual incentive to be built, pretty weird compared to a world where the necessity of airports are super high to the point even the tiny remote Pacific nations need to have one, for accessibility. (And tourism too, let's be honest)

Long story short, I drafted this mod on the airplane on the way back to home, and just "slow-playtested" it till I was sure there was no more error. Welp, enjoy this mod where airports now have a significant effect on the world that is a late-game in Civ6~ owo

hmmmm very interesting suggestions.... tho i'd rather leave this mod as it is right now, plus furthermore, apart from the experimental phase it is currently in, a good modder friend of mine is working on a giant mod project (which ive given him some help in testing) revamping a lot of the vanilla buildings that has the potential to be as good as JNR's district expansion, and i prefer for this mod to be as simple as possible, other mods have my attention atm. Thanks for your comment though, I may investigate and look into it when I have the time and willingness to do so :)

Personally, I use the Aerodrome changes from the Military expansion over the Commerce expansion (Hangar and Air Force Base instead of Hangar and Airport), then I use the International Airport from Modern Building Expansion for tier 3 and apply all your features to that building instead of tier 2.

Great concept. Suggestions for mod support: Power plants from Natural Gas and Renewable Energy Complexity, buildings from JNR's District Expansions, boroughs from City Lights, districts from More Maritime Seaside Sectors.

Except for the people living directly next to the runway of a major international airport, they are miserable no matter how much they saved on their mortgage. Except for that one weird guy. Carl. He likes the sounds.

Hope you’re enjoying the mod! I have a major updated coming in three days, adding amenity bonuses to the Airport, which I feel should’ve been added at its initial release xD (Because travelling is a luxury which makes people happy)
