Malekith's True Phoenix King campaign

Description
Description
This mod gives various effects to the Malekith according to his position on the Ulthuan. Since the base structure is from Alarielle, there are 3 phases for this effect.

  • Phase 1: Malekith controls less than 10 settlements in the outer ring of Ulthuan. Progress will go up as you continue to conquer lands in the outer ring. His weapon strength and spell resistance vs High Elves will go down as you conquer more lands.
  • Phase 2: Malekith controls more than 10 settlements in the outer ring. Progress will go up as you continue to conquer the inner ring of Ulthuan.
  • Phase 3: Malekith control all of the Ulthuan. Progress will go up for each turn as long as you control the whole island.

In Phase 3, you can recruit some of the High Elven units via the RoR panel.

Eternity King Campaign
This is much simpler. You just get more bonus for more Athel Loren settlements you own. The effect are just copy & paste from the wood elves' Oak effect. Except for the recruitment part of course.

The tree UI will appear once you have reached 100% dominion over the Ulthuan.

Current Thoughts
Progress depending on the outer ring feels weird since you can go directly into the inner ring via the gate. I might change the condition.

Invasion of Ulthuan is likely to be a late content in the play. If so, wouldn't it be a just -2 public order for most of your gameplay?

There is too much time between phase 2 and phase 3, maybe another phase 2.5 will be needed that triggers when your settlements in both the outer ring and inner ring are over 10 but haven't united the Ulthuan.

I can't find a neat way to spawn Hef LLs to the Malekith. Creating a fresh new clean one on faction destroyed seems somewhat off.

FAQ
Q. Sisters of Avelorn shouldn't be a recruitable candidate. They never served Malekith in the lore.
A. As a fervent pervert JRPG player, that's a line I can't cross.
Nah, I just think they're the cherry on the top and something that can't be dismissed.

Q. You shouldn't call this a true phoenix king campaign. Malekith also could have XXX!
A. I'm open to suggestions. As you can see, I even made a mod on the suggestion so feel free to make one.

Q. Can I use the console command mod to quickly get the final results?
A. It'll not work with transfer settlement console commands (gr). However, if you really want to use the console command and only get the final rewards, transfer all the settlements but the final ones (whether it's Ulthuan or Athel Loren). Then, save your game and load the savefile you just saved, then conquer your final region normally.

Q. Is vassal and alliance taking the land counted towards the meter?
A. No. You have to take it by yourself.

@The Six Machine, the slower rate you gain units is balanced by being able to recruit them instantly

Absolutely love this mod - one of my new favourites! The only thing I'd love to see (and would do myself except I have no idea how to!) is increase the rate at which HE/WE Units can be recruited just a bit, as it can be a bit low at times, or maybe even adding in some of the other Units - would love to see a Phoenix in my Army at times! Thanks again though for a brilliant mod!
It's been working for me

Does this work or need an update?

is this current or does it need an update?

@Kriega1 Yes, so the recruitment mechanism is reasonable in campaign balance, but that just doesn't feel cool (with 15 bands of high/wood elf units)

@TO247, You do need to keep in mind they allow you to easily defend your unguarded settlements when you have those units in regiment pool reserves

Awesome tabletop mod when playing as witch king, also has nice compatibility. but the recruitment time of high elf and wood elf units are too long. Basically you cant have too many of them.

dude, why the random recruitment of units? it feels like I will need 30 turns to recruit a full stack of units. Ridiculous.
